So I placed my order on wednesday January 11 for a jacket and hoodie last week. I was told it would be shipped USPS Priority. I know USPS priority takes 2 days. I receive an order confirmation from UPS saying I have 2 items from Saga outerwear being groundshipped and will arrive thursday, January 19, just after I leave to go ski out west. This is not what I payed for, and I am sincerely dissappointed. Anybody else encounter this problem?

Second thread I get to vent my anger in. I am leaving Thursday to Montana to go skiing an I wont have my jacket. I PAYED for 2-3 day priority shipping and got UPS ground. They didn't respond to my emails also, I'm very angry.

i ordered a week ago today, my jacket got here today. now i am super happy with my jacket and all just when they say they are shipping something usps priority and i pay for it i get sort of angry.

i also sent an email with no reply.

Guys you got gear at 60% off... I think thats enough said.

They tweeted a picture of how many invoices they have... probably like 2000-3000 orders and there are only 2 guys who were on the job.

I had a request too, so I called and left voicemail/emailed, no reply. But I can't get upset considering the situation and the amazing deal I got.

BTW, I'd much rather have UPS ground over USPS any day.

Trust me, I'm more than pleased with the deal I got. But the fact is I payed for shipping 2-3 days, not 2 weeks. I'm leaving on a trip to Montana which I thought I would have my jacket for considering it was pretty much 2 weeks away from when I placed my order. The fact that they can't respond to my email also frustrates me

did i say saga sucks? NO..It's not ironic i have a saga icon, because then i wouldn't even bother on buying from them...

Ironic would be having a picture of dan_sammons as my icon, the head of packaging and customer service of saga outerwear

Don't get me started on Proof shades...

I think they are just waiting for me to forget about my order. It is now currently 7 months late and havn't responded to my FB messages or emails

ordered mine over a week ago, was told it would ship with USPS priority, got an email from UPS saying the label has been made but they havn't received it or even shipped it yet. They havn't responded to my emails either

I think its really awesome that they are doing this sale, but they needed to have the shipping situation under control and handled before even starting the sale because they knew fully how many orders they were gonna get. its just annoying that they are supposedly shipping with 2 companies and not communicating with us. a simple update would be fine

I came in here to say exactly this, I didn't even bother calling or emailing them because I understand how busy they must be and how few people are working on this.

Everyone relax, and be patient.

I got my saga crew within 3 days. Now Eastern Collective... I ordered a mask on Christmas, and I still haven't received it or know of it's whereabouts.

dude they actually have really good customer service.... they dont have time to respond to a few late/ wrong shipments. like it was said above. they had 2000-3000 invoices for 2 people. i work in a shipping department. i know what thats like. and its a lot of work. getting half off or more for their stuff is really rare. just be happy with the deal.

i'm not even talking about saga reverse sale! In the past three years I made several purchases, and had customer support issues in everyone and each of them! Of course not everyone has the same purchasing experience, but as of me and what i heard from other people they lack of experience in this area. And I do realize that they are a pretty new company and this is quite common, but in my own personal experience, their customer service SUCKS!

not posting on this thread any more

Happened to me when i ordered my stuff in November. Only 1 email back (after i sent 7) took 2 weeks to get here, Customer service rating D actually product rating A+ worth the wait

1. Cancel the order2. Change your trip to park city

3. Go buy the stuff at the headquarters

4. Go enjoy yourself, in your stylish new gear

Ive never had poor service with Saga. Didn't get something I ordered, bam had it in under a week free of charge. Part of my zipper broke off, the thing you pinch to zip it, and I got a entirely new coat. Pants to and that was resolved in a very nice way. Have patience with emails and such. And when you order there's a comments box or should be. So if you need expedited shipping tell them.

They also PAID for faster shipping, so they should get what they PAID for. It isn't like they can sell out of shipping.

Not meaning to hate but technically you can because only pack a truck so full and only have so many routes so technically you can and in the packing world it's first come first serve. the faster your package gets to the shipping hub the faster it gets out (uncle is a post man, he bitches about this shit all the time)

Not hat in on you by any means bro but you must remember. Even though Saga is a popular company, it's still a word of mouth thing. So, they could still be considered small. Theres not really options on how to ship your stuff. so you're kinda stuck with what you get.. I'm sorry this happened to ya bro.

I don't think some of you understand where he's coming from. They CHARGED him priority shipping fees. If they knew they wouldn't be able to follow through on that, they should have switched shipping options for the sale or something. Obviously its easier and efficient to have only one option but for this instance it didn't work out as well.

copy paste of what i said in the other thread...

people don't seem to understand that Saga still only has 1 or 2 people in the office at the most, others are out doing other shit whether its skiing, traveling or whatever else they want to do. They can't afford to pay 3-5 people to sit in their office for 8 hrs a day just to answer emails and deal with shipping, they have one guy who does that and he does a ton of other shit for them every day too. Saga isn't a big company, they have like 6 employees and they all share the work because if they didn't they'd be fucked. Saga took a big step up in amount of stock and amount of buyers, its pretty crazy they used to run of out Austin's house 2 years ago, now they have a legit warehouse with all of their product, which has grown exponentially since they moved out of austin's house. So you ignorant little kids, calm the fuck down.

That really sucks for all of you!I ordered my stuff, and received it here in Canada just fine today. And as far as customer service, I can't complain. I was on the site the day after I made my order, and was able to ask a question about my order and get an answer right away, just with the little pop out chat feature. And that has been my experience, sucks that yours has been so shitty!

I mean yeah, but if Saga gave him a date to expect his clothing and he paid for priority shipping he should get it on time no matter what. Saga is the illist, but if they need to hire more employees to hold to promises they should probably look into it.

if you own a legit company and you have unhappy customers because they do whatever else they want to do then that is very unprofessional.

Saga is a small company, they're not some huge company like salomon, k2 or rossignol. Calm down.

Do you know the owners/employers of saga? have you been to the warehouse? Do you know how their day to day operations work? But you're right, I'm totally wrong, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

pretty sure the price difference between UPS ground and USPS priority is very small.

that being said, if there are a couple thousand orders and things are backed up, the least they could do is send a mass email explaining the delays so customers know what to expect.

i personally didn't have any problems, got my pants from the reverse sale a couple days later from UPS

That has absolutely nothing to do with how a business should be run. I don't care whether you know them or not, they run a business and some kid paid for priority shipping, regardless of how busy they are, they should at least get the ones shipped out who are willing to drop a little more cash for fast shipping.

Like I said, I'm totally wrong, you're right and I don't know what I'm talking about...

Whether you know how a business runs, I doubt you've ever ran one before, let alone one as successful as saga has been this year. All you kids need to chill the fuck out, your god damn xl bright pink with blue patch jacket will come.

so you're mocking the products they sell while trying to defend the company at the same time? this is getting complicated

I don't think they're the ones that need to calm down..

OT: Give Saga some slack these things happen, even if they did give you a date. Maybe the problem lies out of Saga's control; after your item has left Saga's warehouse it's down to the delivery company.

You try and pull this card way to often. And it has nothing to do with what the complaint here is. Here is my solution saga should not advertise how they are going to ship just make people pay for shipping and then they get an email with the tracking number for whoever they shipped it with. Like I said earlier I don't care if they use ups or USPS. But I do care when I pay $13 bucks for priority shipping and ten it isn't shipped that way. Even when I got my jacket on the bill it said USPS priority.

I ordered my stuff a week ago and it came today. i'm all they way in Australia right now, so I think that's pretty efficient from saga if you ask me.

The only thing I have to complain about and its not that big of a deal, is that their online store doesn't work in my area so I have to order through email. could you see how that could be a problem? basically this just means I have to wait for a while to even know if they got the order or if its even shipped.

hmmm. its only 8 days so i wouldnt be too mad. but sucks that you dont have the gear for your trip.

i dont get why so many people have these logistics problems with saga. i ordered my stuff (last year) the last day that pre-order was available and i had it 2 days after shipping started

Probably the last time we'll see a 3-day sale from Saga. I think everyone just need to calm down and stop stirring the pot.

People are mad because the ONLY shipping option was priority, and mine ended up being 25 bucks so i damn well expected my stuff to be here in 3-4 days, not that a full week really bothered me, but when USPS emails me saying my stuff has arrived then i have to wait another 2 because they hand it off to UPS ground? Its an angering inconvenience but it WILL get there guys.
