Saga Getting Uglier by the year

After peeping some of the 2015 line up, it's made me realize that the company is going nowhere with there line ups. 2012's anomie line up was dope af, but all there now just doesn't spark me as something i would spend 200+ on. but whatever, most of there money is coming from 12 year olds moms

The first three years of saga were dope starting with the beaver fur, moss and scuba. Everything recent sucks
 
do you really not know the difference between their and there? don't they teach you that in like third grade?
 
it's funny that you bring this up, because I don't think they've changed at all. Their gear for this year looks nearly identical to that of their first season in production. But that's coming from me, someone who is highly unlikely to buy a jacket or pair of pants from them
 
Honestly the Buckfever Mutiny jacket is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time.

Other than that, I pretty much hate everything Saga has produced since after 2010.
 
No one is forcing you to buy a saga outfit. If you don't like THEIR (hint hint) product line up then don't purchase said product. Simple as that, making a thread about it is stupid.
 
I thoroughly agree with you. They also have some sick things also. I just don't buy saga anymore considering every 12 year old at my resort wears it.
 
i dont see anything wrong with this thread. the man wants to post his opinion on some gear, this is gear talk. if you dont like the thread, dont post. also, ive never really been a fan of anything from saga but thats just me

How is this year not a throwback? I think the last year that I really liked their stuff was 2011/12. They aren't gonna do a whole line throwback because they would only put out 3 jackets. This year they have 2/3 total jackets from the 06 line. They are putting out more jackets than ever, and I have to agree, I liked the 08 line the best, but since the quality has gotten so much better, I would buy a jacket from this year
 
Only 12 year old moms buy Saga.

Seriously, you have to be 12 and have at least 2 illegitimate children to be willing to buy the new Saga line.

It's hideous.
 
A part of me agrees with the cosmetic part of it, but I feel like a ton of the nostalgia is due to wanting old skiing back. Back when Brogan and afterbang were a huge thing... Wanting the old style of outerwear because its associated with the "golden age" of freeskiing.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Everyone likes to look back and remember how good things were and has such fond memories. I can almost gurantee in 5 years people who are just getting into freeskiing right now will be saying they wish things were like 2013/14 again.

Personally I'm stoked to see the beaver fur back in the lineup. Now I can wear the pants with my OG moss jacket
