Saga customer service?

hey, just wanted to get a few people opinions on the service you have had when ordering through saga please. I love their stuff and so does everyone i ride with! placed my first order through them around 4/5 weeks ago though and its been an almighty fuck up :(

to cut down a long story its taken ages for it to be sent with a few lies along the way about what had and had not been done, now over 4 weeks after ordering it has just been shipped. Can someone please restore some faith for me!!
 
did you lie to them?

ive never heard of Saga trying to cover their ass with a lie.

they will probably give you some freebies for any inconvenience so that should restore your faith
 
From my experience, Saga has baller Customer Service.

I ordered a hoodie from them, put it through the wash once and the color on the hood (Blue) ran into the color on the body (Light Grey). I sent them a pic and they sent me a new one no questions asked, and they paid shipping.

If you send them an email I'm sure they'll hook it up.
 
I know they were waiting to get a lot of their product in the warehouse for a while as said on their website and from my experiences they have really good customer service. They have even taken products that were meant to go to their sponsored riders and sent them out to customers. But, maybe you just got screwed.
 
They've been having trouble with their inventory system for a season or two. It might be marked shipped because they pay/print shipping labels online, even if it means the merchandise isn't actually be shipped yet. It just allows their carrier to come and pick up their shipments without having to pay for them. When they don't have enough merchandise from their manufacturer, then things get put on backorder, which is what I'm guessing (hoping) what happened to you. They really need to fix their supply chain system.
 
sounds weird but glad it only seems to be me then! at first one of the pants was out of stock but just dropped it from the order, everything else was in stock.

got hold of them about 4 weeks after ordering to be told it had been shipped, just over a week later i got an email with confirmation of the courier being booked but this is over a week after i was told it was on the way :/

Everyones feedback is much appreciated and restoring my faith a lot!

It's not only you man, still don't have my stuff and saga hasn't replied to one of my 4 emails over the past two and a half weeks. Wouldn't be too disappointed if I didn't see all their posts in here or on Facebook. Overall pretty weak on their part
 
they did that with me to be fair, the only way i seemed to get a reply was through their ticket system and making them public. Hope this helps you out dude
 
this isnt an excuse for not replying to email questions right when we get them but sometimes when were under a time crunch during shipping season we make the decision to have someone physically packing and shipping an order rather than sitting at a computer answering questions. sure you can say it only takes a couple of minutes to answer an email but if you have several dozen emails it adds up. we figure our customers would much rather have their items shipped than get a response via email.

like i said, not an excuse just explaining our methods.
 
The main problem being my emails were regarding my order before it goes out. Yet still with no reply to an email you guys post on here.

Id rather a somewhat timely response (under a week) and a day later shipped any day. The fact that you have either gone over two weeks without checking your email or just ignoring them is just bad business
 
I completely understand your thinking on the email side of things saga, however it's a bit of a shame when you get neither
 
I've only had good experiences with Saga's customer service. A couple years ago when I got my jacket and pants was the year the smaller sizes got delayed a fuck ton (I ordered size L), and I wasn't supposed to get my stuff until after Christmas. The problem was, I was going to be out of town for Christmas and was leaving straight from my uncle's house to go on a ski trip. I called up Saga and as soon as they got the L stuff in stock they called me and express shipped my stuff to me that day so I got it before Christmas. I've never had any problems ordering Tshirts, hoodies, thermals, facetubes, or anything else either. Very legit company. Thanks, Saga!
 
I've only ordered from Saga once and I basically had the same experience when I bought a vest. I was heading to Colorado and even though it was 2 day shipping I ordered a few weeks in advance just to be safe. Well about five days went by and I got nothing. I called every day for another few days, nothing. Sent them an e-mail saying I really needed it asap and got nothing.

It got to 2 days before my flight and I get a package from Saga; its the wrong order. I send them an angry e-mail saying I wouldn't be back and that they were just riding on their cult following and not giving a damn about customer service.

This apparently caught someones attention because they e-mailed me back and were very agreeable. In the end I got my vest and they threw in a free hat, so I was pretty stoked even though I didn't have it for my trip. Overall I ended up happy, and the product was really high quality, so I'd suggest that anyone buys from Saga. Just stick with it and send them a firm e-mail, I'm sure you'll get a response.
 
thanks for the advice man! sent a strongly worded email that was avoided,, but now have a shipping date 5 weeks after ordering so i can only hope for the best when it gets here!
 
I only had one issue with a shirt that was shipped with an issue from the factory that no one packing shipments could have noticed. They promptly sent a replacement.

I'm sure they will make it right for you in one way or another.
