NS is once again in the throes of a sickness.
Before, people realized they could crochet and sell hats, and lots of small companies popped up. Now, people with sewing machines realized the same thing. The only problem with these sorts of companies is that practically everyone with opposable thumbs their mom's Singer can make the product for much cheaper, and do it themselves.
If people want to buy suspenders or fleecy bandanas they could make themselves with $10 and 30 minutes of cutting and sewing, go for it. If there is a market, by all means make money.  But I think you might have more fun doing it yourself.
