Saftey Meetings: Mandatory.

Saftey first for all activities, but i think skiing especially there are a bunch of young kids and middle-aged gapers who dont stay safe.
 
woah are you guys talking about smoking the banja? that doesnt sound very safe. it must be an x-treme west coast thing that you do at your "sessions".
 
With the insurance fiascos of late, you're more than bound to have to start attending some sort of safety briefing prior to shredding the gnar at any major mountain. In Amerikkka anyway.
 
Ummm why hasn't anyone mentioned the Theory 3 flick? You know, the one titled Safety Meeting, from like two years ago...
 
some places just clip your ticket for acting like a retard. the wierd ski instructors at my hill always tell me to get back on the slope or ill get ticket clipped but if your teaching 3 5 year old kids and your sitting on a lift i do not fear you
 
It's not exclusive to anywhere anytime, saftey meetings are necessary throughout all aspects of life. Shit just gets dangerous sometimes, and when you feel shit's just a little out of hand, a little edgy, and you feel as though your saftey has been comprimised, then it's completely necessary to carry out the appropriate saftey procedures. I care about the saftey of me and my friends, and that's why I'm out there every day on the hill or on the trails or in your backyard making sure that everyone stays safe.
 
Haha Evan is right. If you dont got the speed to smoke your bowl bail for sure, and also realize smoking glass is for hippies.
 
Whats wrong with hippies? Bongs for the win though for sure. This is a funny bump...I guess I'd always known it as a safety meeting too. You gotta stay safe out there, the world will get ya.

I noticed. I mean I've known about them on the east coast before this thread and I doubt I was in the first group of east coast people to hear somebody call it a safety meeting. Probably my first year park crew at mount jore in 06/07. Safety is very important in terrain parks.

gotta get with the times and bring the flamethrower + dab rig to the mountain. not sure how casual of a safety meeting thats bout to be. about as casual as a houseparty with everyone tripping on dmt?
 
Only ever heard it used in VT...and they are mandatory...especially if you have to go teach a group lesson to small children haha
