Safety straps

you could probably just get some snowbording leashes and attach that little hook thing into a hole in your binding. try and google ski leash.

There are a few different types. I have seen one design that will be less likley to have the ski tumbling down with you, they are bright orange ribbons that are very long and are made to break if they get tangled around you (like flags for your lost ski) single use though. Shit, I don't know who sells them. Maybe try a shop that deals with a lot of tele stuff.

i usually keep some string in my fanny pack while i'm skiing, and just use that to tie my skis to my boots.... its extremely practical

don't use em. if you eat shit your skis will hit you in the face, and if you're in a slide, you can't kick em off. just crank up your dins a little bit. or get some of those bright orange powder ribbons

to clear this up..

basically just get a long neon colored string. neon so that you can see it in the snow. now tie that string to the skis but DON'T tie it to yourself. just roll it up in your pants or somewhere where it will fall out if you fall. the point is when the skis come off the string will unravel and stay on top of the snow where you can find it and follow it to the skis. finding a bright string on top of the snow is easier than finding the hidden skis.

yup thats the cheapest way to go about it and it works well too. ive heard of people buying that neon orange tape from home depot and or whereever, that they use to mark trails closed. it is real cheap and it is light too so you dont even notice it.

i have a pair that i found in my basement and use them for power days they are so helpful when your ski falls off, mine are looks but they are from like the 80's and i dont think they make them anymore
