All is organized, and ready for some great debauchery.

INFO:

Theory-3 Media and Poorboyz Productions with the UBC Ski and Board Club present Safety Meeting and WAR.

OCTOBER 21st, UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

The main ballroom at the Sudent Union building(by the pit bar) First Main Premiere and Beer Garden/After Party.

Time: ALL AGES: Doors at 530 Showings of Safety Meeting and War start at 6. OVER 19 After Party/BEER GARDEN 8:00 pm the ballroom turns into an over 19 event. Contests, djs, lots of prizes and schwag,....oh and 2 dollar beers, cheap shark highballs and much more.

For all that have been to a UBC ski and Board Club beer garden...well its a good 3-400 people drinking alot of cheap cheap drinks, with us now throwing out gear and hosting little fun contests...come get stoked for the season and support these two film companies!

Many riders will be in attendance from both flicks, so be sure to come say hi grab some stickers and more.

Thanks to Shark Energy Drink, Salomon, Carrera, Orage, Siver, Mt Seymour, P.O.W Gloves, Volkl, POwder 11, Ontic Clothing, and many more groups which we are still confirming.

The premiere is 6$ CDN and the after party is a few bucks also, still working out those details, but that just covers the drink costs being only 2 bucks or less.

Noice... although we will have to fraternize with Ski/board club people... but getting pissed will make that all okay. Make sure you rig all the gear contests, of course.

be there for sure, but due to work and school Ill have to shotgun a couple before I leave to make sure I fit in with the rest of you alchys.

is it by the pool? all i know is the pool... arn't they rebuilding the outdoor pool? i like ubc's pool.

The SUB is near 4C on that map coordinate-wise... and the norm isn't hard to find inside. It looks like a theatre. And is next to a bagel place, across from a shop called the Outpost, which sells school supplies and clothes and shit. Shouldn't be too tough. It's like 30 seconds from the bus loop, you can see SUB when you get off the bus.
 
Wait a sec, it's not in the norm. Never mind. But the ballroom is pretty easy to locate as well. Just show up in Sub, you'll see people, they will know where to go.
 
ya i need parking too. and how to get there from parking. last year i ended up doing a pseudo illegal left turn into the bus only road at UBC for the wski premier.

is anyone going to be at the vancouver ski show. i will be. check out Parkers oh so sexy poster at the K2 booth for LOTP
 
There's a lot of parking options... there's an underground parkade right across from SUB but that costs money.
 
Ya its 3 bucks all night I think...safe, and right across from the student union building...there are metre parking too...and obvously the poach resident parking or some fun thing.,

i've been hearing rumours of general strikes 'cause of the whole govt hating on the teachers thing... i mean, i'm all for a general strike (maybe get some rioting and looting too if we're lucky)... but can't it wait till saturday?
