Sad the seasons ended

Had planned to go for closing day tomorrow and try and nail the coveted lip back 270 (for real this time) and just got word that the hill got fucked and is closing today, so season is ending a day early (until I head home out west in late April for some late season skiing) but it sucks and feels sad to have the season end like that with all the boys. First time I’ve skied more that 4 times in a year since moving back to Canada, finally learned how to send rails and do some basics on them, but it sucks to have the season end so abruptly since it was the first year I’ve takes skiing seriously (am 22 so I’m old in learning park skiing terms)

How do I ski in the summer while living in a city so not enough room to have a huge drop in setup

I’ve got the same issue I don’t have room for a summer set up or a trampoline. You can throw a pvc pipe on the ground and practice rail tricks on it. It’s good if it can roll and you can pretend to scissor your feet. Even better get some cheap snow blades and do the same thing with actual skis on your feet, it’s hard and lots of fun. Basically the same as the ski addiction setup but more realistic and cheaper.

Sounds like the lip on blind 2 will be waiting for us next time you get on snow. 22 is only old if you thinking of people younger than you. I’ve got some years on you and I’m still just learning so much.

My hill closes next weekend. Its dumb that they just finished setting up a park this weekend, only to have it used for another week.

Feels like the season never too off and then it ended
