I'm going to Interlaken this weekend, anyone know if its going to be worth it to make a trip to Saas-Fee to ski the glacier? I know its been pretty warm and rainy in switzerland.

I wouldn't go to Saas-Fee right now. I'm sure it will be worth it, but there are much better choices at this time of year.

If you want park you should head to Laax or Les Diablerets (glacier 3000). Laax' park is pretty awesome right now. Les Diablerets is pretty close to Interlaken.

If you want to shred powder, I believe Zermatt and St. Moritz are the place to be next weekend.

my mate in saas fee has been claiming knee deep pow days lately.. i don't think its the place to be for park early season though..

saas fee is tight. been there and ripped for about a week. its worth it for the landscape even if the skiing isnt the best.

Les diablerets' park is realy good right now.

saas fee has big jumps but in les diablerets you have a 5 jumps line which is just perfect for early season shredding.

hope that help

have fun man.

thanks dudes. i ended up going to saas-fee cause it was the easiest for me to get to. the park was pretty decent but really hard landings (and the fuckin rental bindings i had refused to let me land switch). there was some pretty good snow throughout the glacier and i am a happy man having skied in the alps. back to vermont in a couple weeks where ive heard there is no snow.
