S920's

they are just like the 916s, all metal, pretty much indestructible, din up to 20, and available only by special order....or buying them off someone who for some reason decided he'd want to part with them.

Yes. People are foolish. The only high din binding that could even be considered remotely necessary to 99% of the people on this board is the p18, and even that is questionable with a minimum DIN of 8.

When the truth is, I miss you.

Yeah the truth is, that I miss you so.

And I'm tired...

I should not have let you go.

the majority are not buying them for the high din, they are buying them because they are all metal and don't break

DIN 14-20

They're practically the same as s916 which are already industructable. There's no reason for anyone here to get the s920 over the s916. Either binding will probably be difficult to find in the standard version soon since Salomon started using integrated binding / plates on their race stock this year.

That said. SportsDen in SLC had a pair of s920's on the rack two weeks ago.

i also know that the salomon binding style before the one that is out now had problems, or at least mine did with the wing on the toe piece coming loose and your toe in the binding would click around like a muthafucka, do the newsalomon bindings have that prob?

There's two versions of the s916/920, Comp and Lab.

The Lab is new this year and only works on the new plates. The Comp is a standard mount and has been the same for years. I'm not sure whether the Comp will be around next year.
