S916 Parts, Help Please

I've got 2 pairs of Salomon S916 LAB's and I need a replacement part. On the wings of the toe piece there are these small plastic inserts that are in place to keep the metal toe piece from rubbing on your boot and putting grooves in it. I am wondering if anyoen knows where I could get a bunch of these plastic pieces to have on hand when they get popped out? Any help is appreciated.
 
you cant get those. i have that same issue, salomon does not sell them, and if you warrantee them, you will get sth16s back. if you actually lost them, you can hack apart a 914 or 12 with a dremel and re-fabricate them to fit the 916, then glue them in (this is where it gets tricky). ive used gorilla glue, epoxy, and urethane, and none of them held for more than a few days. my 65 year old boss who knows more about bindings than i could ever hope too says these are important for a smooth release, but it doesnt show up on a VT calibrator. i have a few friends who have let them fall out, and never did anything, and say it doesnt effect the release. this year, im might try to use a base welder to re fabricate some, or stop trying to replace them. i have 5 or 6 916s, and this is happening to three of them, so im getting sick of dealing with it. let me know what you decide to do and if it works
 
Like said above the small wing inserts cannot be replaced, however the best fix for them is JB weld. Make sure everything is clean to get a good bond, mold it into a rough shape on the binding, let it set then sand it down if need be. It doesn't have to be perfect, just make sure it contacts the boot well enough and is roughly the same thickness as the original plastic bits.
