some times the forward pressure can still be within marks but be on the light side. Have a shop check and tell them your problem. The Salomon Bindings in general have a lot of elastic heal travel. So when you are landing the heal is moveing back, and you are most likely comming out of the toes? This could also be a DIN issue.
i have them and they have been good to me for the most part.. few pre releases. Most of the problems are from too much forward pressure.. take them into ur LSS and ask them to quickly re-adjust ur bindings
same here but i have the 810tis..the people who keep poping out switch make sure ur dins are set right i weigh like 130 and im like 5"7' and my dins on 6.5 and only time i ever pop out is on a bad fall when u should pop out..as for the prereleasing..makesure the wings are tight on ur boot and the toepeice is nice and snug on ut boot but dont tighten that to much cause u can mess up the spring..oh and use blle locktight on all the bolts.
they're nice and light. mine are in their third season and have broke a couple times but gotten warrantied (the only times they released wrong was when they broke).
mine are dope have 2 pairs and as long as your toe wings, forward pressure and toe hight are set right should have no problems and make sure you have the right brake size for the ski cuz that causes most switch releases
yeah there are alot of adjustments on these bindings.. and every time you change something in the toe it also changes ur forward pressure so as long as u keep it all in check i dont think they are too bad... im on my first pair this year so we will see
I've had mine for 4 seasons now and they've never pre-released, and they feel great. I have the DIN all the way up at 12. They stay in when they're supposed to and release when it's needed. No complaints at all. In fact, I just got some new ones for my new skis.
i ride them on some of my skis but i am all about the 914, its only two more din but they are the next spring wieght up and have an over all tighter feel but mine are set at 11 or twelze so that dif the 6 or 7
