I have been skiing on these pair of 3-4 year old nordicas i picked up at a garage sale for 40 bucks. There not bad boots (nothing compared to full tilts). They are fine fitting around my shin but down to my ankle and foot but there is a shit load of room ( i can lift the ball of my foot up and down in them). I have been wearing two pairs of socks which fixes this problem, but my feet get all sweaty and hot and it sucks. Is it possible to buy some sort of liner that could make my boots fit better? I need help. anything will be appreciated.

The boot are too big for you simple a that. Unfortunately there is nothing you can really do to fix a boot which is too big, but luckily you only spent 40 bucks on them so your not out of pocket much. At the start of next season go get fitted up in a good shop for some boots that really fit your feet

Boots are something you should not try to worry about getting a good deal on. You need something that fits well tht is the most important factor. Skis and bindings get those cheap but spend money on your boots.

Boots that are too big honestly there is very little you can do. You will be holding yourself back as you will not be able to ski to your full potential. Nothing you can do really but suck it up an get some new ones. Sorry man.

This. Having good boots is one of the most important pieces of gear. Find a good reputable boot fitter that has multiple types of boots you can try. Get the best fitting boot for your abilities. It won't be cheap but who skiing was?

I really appreciate your constant information. Honest, no bullshit responses from you are the norm and I like it. Just wanted to say that.
