it does but you have a lot of forward momentum so it doesnt hurt as much as u wud think cuz alot of the pressure is exerted elsewhere
 
Not at all.

Shaun White is way more chill and from what I've read/seen/heard a very nice person. He just gets a lot of crap for concentrating way more on competitions, comercialization(sp?) and making money than having fun. And I can understand why he gets heat for that, but my opinion is that snowboarding isn't just his hobby, it's his job. Whats wrong with wanting to be successful at your job?

sheckler is a fucking goof. no ones saying he isnt good, but he degraded himself to appearing on mtv, and in no way tried to NOT look like a pussy. clearly thats what homeboy is actually like.

he also does nothing out of the ordinary trick wise. i dont need to see people kickflipping off the biggest stuff possible.

and cool, the kid can trash a hotel room. why anyone would bother putting that in a video is beyond me.
 
i hope you were jokin about the style part. yeah rodney mullen is definatly the most influencial pro but he looks like nate sherwood when he skates

dam that was some amazing skating ...but he seems to follow the general trend apparently of being rediculous at something at a young age and just being sick or makign a lot of money and then becoming a "tool". i mean his show on mtv sucked and was prob scriped but thats what the people who watch mtv wnat not necasarily to see some sick skating.
 
I look at Mullen like a god, but even I can say he doesnt have much style. He's really jerky and ugly when he's doing stuff
 
holy shit, some of that looked straight out of a tony hawk game or something...so perfect. when we was basically walking using his board and then did some crazy flip out...ridiculous

and why is it that rodney mullen comes up every time anyone talks about skateboarding? homeboy inverted some important tricks, but nothing since like, 1993. that fact that hes come up with a bunch of tricks no one else is doing means nothing. i sure as shit dont need to see anyone else doing kickflip underflips or those god awful primo slides.
watch nate jones skate a sidewalk gap. watch dan drehobl skate a skatepark. watch darren navarette skate a pool. watch erik ellington skate a hubba. watch stefan janoski skate switch. watch dan zvereff do manuals. watch chima ferguson or jimmy cao skate street.
that ought to give you a good scope of what style is on a skateboard. rodney mullen, not so much.
