Ryan dunn is dead?

Here is my FB status:

"Getting drunk, speeding, then wrecking your Porche at 3am. What a 'tragedy'."

Well... it's really sad and all but can we all just admit that he's not a victim here? Getting fucked up and speeding in a porsche is a terrible idea and he got the worst case scenario

it is unfortunate yeah. and a terrible idea.
just a reminder to appreciate the time you have with people around you, some things aren't in our control so it's best to appreciate the time you have with those you care about.

/sentimental comment that will get me flamed.

R.I.P bro

i thought Steve-O would be the first.

shove a toy car up your ass, and apparently your a hero and it justifies drunk driving at 100+ mph. no sympathy.

i agree with 99% of your posts. including half of that post, but this was most definitely within human control.

that being said, it does not mean people should be disrespecting him on the day of his death.

RIP Dunn

RIP. Guy was hilarious, but as others have said, I don't feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his family, friends and everyone who cared about him. He made a very stupid mistake and unfortunately he paid the ultimate price.

who's justifying it? people recognize it's stupid, but since we're not 12 it doesnt completely preclude having sympathy for someone who has just died. for how much you bitch and moan on here you show surprisingly little sympathy for others. it's a two way street

some of you are sickening. i hope you guys are just young or acting hard for your internet buddies

What if, instead of just killing himself and his passenger, he had also killed someone else on the road? Would you feel the same way? He was driving drunk at over 100mph, he deserves no sympathy. Like I said, the people you should feel sorry for are his family and friends.

oh yeah totally man. my bad, the way I meant it was that what other people do is not within our control.
he did something stupid, or so it appears that way, the full story hasn't confirmed anything yet, but anyway what he did affects his friends and family in an awful way is what i mean.
if he did in fact drink and drive, he made a critical and fatal mistake that could have been avoided. i just meant to remind people that you never know what can happen to those you love, so appreciate them and make sure they know what they mean to you

holy shit what kind of car was he driving / how fast was he going? that car doesn't even look like a car

RIP Dunn, you were always my favorite on jackass

what does that hypothetical have to do with anything? no one's defending drunk and/or absurdly fast driving..at all... the only thing in question is whether you insist on seeing everything in black and white and having no sympathy for someone who made a very dumb mistake, and think he "deserved to die" because of it

i bet you wouldn't be saying the same shit if a close friend of yours died in a stupid or reckless way

this..what the fuck is wrong with you people? a man just died

it is still unknown at this point who the driver was..how fucking awful are you gonna feel after shitting all over dunn if he was just the passenger?

How do you know the other person in the car wasnt the DD? he could have been driving dunn home and decided to open up the porsche 911 gt3 for his first time, such a wildly powerful car would not be easy for someone who is not familiar with to handle on such a tight road...fucking 12 year olds on this site..

Sure I would. I would feel shocked and sad, but I just can't feel bad for someone who does something as stupid as what Ryan Dunn did. I never said that he deserved to die in any of my posts. Just that I can't feel bad for him after what he did.

When I first found out on FB I was like WHAAAAAAT?!?! I had to google to confirm.... Still can't fucking believe this. RIP Dunn....

yeah, well, when something tragic happens to you (and it will, man, shit fucking happens) i'll be sure to see if you think the victim "deserves no sympathy" as you claim you would. shit happens man, people make mistakes, and that's not to say you should excuse them but it does mean that to categorically condemn them is silly and juvenile

Quit bashing the dude. Yeah it was inexcusable to be drunk driving and yeah he payed the price for it but that doesn't mean you shouldn't respect him.

The man has made more people laugh than anyone in this thread ever will and he gets mad respect for that from me.

Damn, I

just heard it when I got home, and I could not believe it.

I grew up watching CKY and Jackass...he always-seemed one of the nicer guys on

the shows.

It just ones again proves that the only certainty we have in live is that we

will die, and we never know when it hits us. I feel sorry for his friends and family to have to go through this.

saw this on somebody's twitter...

"Ryan Dunn died how he lived, with car parts in his anus."

for everyone bashing him saying ah dont drink n drive blah......THEY STILL DONT KNOW IF HE WAS DRUNK OR EVEN DRIVING
no wonder i never come on this site anymore half of you are ignorant little 12 year old fucks that are gonna mooch off mommy and daddys money for the rest of your life

i agree with the first half, but common dude, shut the fuck up, where were you trying to go with that last statement, not the right thread for that stupidity

If he was driving drunk, he's probably lucky he didn't live. I knew a kid that rode a motorcycle once drunk with another drunk buddy on the back. Tossed it and the passenger died but he lived. the state pressed charges and he went to prison for like a decade. Kill your friend and go to jail for it, that's gotta suck, especially when both are willing parties.

Sucks for his family and friends though for sure, I'm sure they're as prepared as can be though what with his current lifestyle. Still tough.

And anyone who says this is an eye opener to how dangerous cars are needs a serious physics lesson in life. You're sitting in a thousand pounds of metal traveling at high speeds, every time you step foot in a car you are threatening your life. People lose control and kill others at 8 in the morning, shit happens and sometimes it comes out of literally nowhere. Drive safe out there folks, drinking or not.

You guys are right. We don't even know if he was drinking...

Ryan-Dunn-400x299.jpg

oh shit.

Thank god it was himself and not an innocent person.

yeah he posted a pic of him drinking to twitter 4 hours before the crash

yeah he's famous for shoving a toy car up his ass among other stupid shit

yeah speeding is reckless

What he did was stupid and inherently dangerous, and no one here is denying that, but that isn't the point.

As much as you can bitch and moan about how he was an idiot and that he brought it on himself, he is another human being and to not feel sympathy for his friends and family and those who were fans is not only rude but its just plain sociopathic. It's like protesting at a funeral. Don't do it, at least in this thread, let the people who want to mourn and remember do so, keep your opinions to yourself and share them in a different environment.

we want to remember Dunn who was a good man. Hell, him and Steve-O were on minute to win it trying to raise money for special olympics (might be wrong on the charity).

Just remember, many people believe most things in skiing are stupid, dangerous, and the people who do so have deathwishes. If those people were to say those sorts of things about Shane, CR, Arne, Doug, or any other of our fallen heroes you would be pissed off as well.
