rust? edges?

gummy stone

or go 2 your shop and get a tune up/edge sharepn

and it wont affect u too bad, just loose some grip, espically on ice

...

u know aht a gummi stone it, jsut take on of those and run it down the sides, if that doesnt do it, tune it up

...

gummy stone will make your edges super dull, get a guide and a file and sharpen up, or use a course (black) diamond stone... Also wipe youedges with a rag when youget home to avoid rust alltogeather

unless they're really severely rusted it will come off as soon as you hit the snow. or take a wet towel to it or some such.

WWTJSD?

one run and it is GONE......and next year at the end of the season take like 60 grams of super warm base-prep wax and coat your bases/edges in as much wax as you can manage to cram on the ski....next year you'll have nice healthy bases and shiny edges when you take em out for the first time

yeah it'll go away you wont even notice it when your up there, but to not get rust dont leave it in a box thingy on your car overnight and stuff, lean it up against a wall. thats the only way that i got rust

If I had more energy, I'd burn that young mans face

Yeah, dry your skis off when you get home from skiing and you should be bank. Don't leave them outside overnight too, that's no good.

Don't leave your skis in moist places or in places like your garage. Keep them up in your room where they are nice and safe and tehy won't rust...guaranteed.

yeah i keep mine in front of my bed, cause dreams about skiing are definately the best. and i can go caress them if i feel insecure in the night

If I had more energy, I'd burn that young mans face

no when u tune, you run a gummi stone down the edge, obviously, to get off excess burrs and rust, it wont make your egdes dull, if u sit there for a while and do it yes, but not just a few quick runs up and down the edge, but try to ski it off also

...

i just use a diamond stone, it works fine, and it gets burrs off at the same time, but if you're too lazy to remove the rust with a stone or something, it'll come off while you're skiing
