So freestyle skiing in Russia isn't nearly as advanced as it is in North America, Europe and some other parts of the world. I thought it would be interesting to post this vid since most of us probably have no idea about their newschool freestyle scene.

yeah I was talking to some skiers from there and they were saying that there are barely any parks at the resorts.. so they dont have too many places to practice
 
I'd prefer Russians not freesking.....they are probably my least favorite group of people and culturally have a huge inferiority complex.

That trailer was cool, i bet there are some great rails all over the place and the backcountry looks sick in the msp movies!
 
What you didn't know is that soon after shooting the video, these skiers got some more shooting done...they were executed later on for being out of the "norm" and scratching some rails.
 
That is one of the most moronic comments ever! I guess all americans shouldn't freeski because they're all imperialistic evil people with illusions of grandeur, that cling to the notion that there country is the best and above everybody else? You're a pooface.
 
Dude....take it from me....Russian chicks are not that hot in general, and many have aids. I know because I lived in the heart of mother russia. there are a few really hot popular russians and strippers and whatnot, but in general....gross women that transform into babushki with beards. very sick clips of russian skiing, glad to see the sport developing there. i heart russian hip hop, especially white trash seryoga....he can drive my chyornie bumer any day. poka.
 
very sick, so cool to see what's happening in Freeskiing elsewhere in the world. And it seemed to be about on par with most of North America, imo.
 
they werent that far behind north americans that much, if this was an independent group than they were really good
 
for serious I'm impressed the wink referred to the completely non hateful use of 'comrades' All else aside I've always had the utmost respect for your ability to drink and your skiing skills are clearly commendable as well.
 
Russians drink lots of vodka and Americans all ride horses like a bunch of cowboys. This sounds correct. There's a whole fucking world across your ocean, my friend atlantaski, and you're going to die before you ever begin to understand it.
