I've heard they want to take Byron Wells as the down under teammate, even though he was in xgames.Theres a guy by the name of Charlie Timmons who is the styliest aussie skier, a true AM and deserves it way more than Byron. Open yer eyes and do the right thing here Russ.
 
talk about doing the right thing. great fucking calling chug and tj on getting vanular on board with team canada. gonna be the fucking ILLLESTTT!!!!!!
 
obviously, but its still breaking the rules by choosing Byron, and it's sort of unfair if you think of it. Isn't it supposed to be an AM athlete? You see Byron's name all over the place for some reason, and he's recognized. Charlie deserves it, think he was named australia's best all mountain skier.

Haha definitely not up to Russ only, but I'm gonna agree - the whole point is to have an AM - a 'rookie', don't go breaking the rules cause you can't find an AM that ppl don't already know - defeats the point. Plenty of cats in Aus and NZ that kill it super hard that should be there, already mentioned in another thread, but Johnny Lipzker, Boen Ferguson, Jordon Houghton, Charlie (and Max) Timmins, Watkin McLennan, and thats just the aussies!! Keep it legit!!!
 
Byron is sick but he already has all the necessary exposure. There are so many kids from both aus and nz who would get way more out of JOSS than he would.
 
In America, he is Bryan.

But technically, because JOSS will be in Sweden, he will be known as Bjørn Wells.

We have heaps of top notch skiers like Tim Myers, Boen Ferguson and definately Charlie Timmons!!!

talked to byron yesterday...... sounds like dane tudor is going to get the call up got team down under..... no biggie no biggie, tudor will kill it!

btw he was born in Auz and has australian citizen ship or something
 
i think you should give them a call. you, chug, and tj would make a sick team, but are you allowed in as an am?
 
Ok guys. To help you all out Jossi and I talked about it once around X Games time and figured that I wouldn't go. Im not sure who they are thinking about but its not me.
 
Dane is Australian and American as far as i know... maybe why he was was on team usa for tinges airwaves... could be wrong.

Relaxxxxxx. We're not taking Byron. That was just something Jon mentioned to me last year, before he made the rules. Schmuck asked me in that interview who we were taking and i hadn't really heard anything about the rules, so i was under the impression that Byron could still come.
Russ and I are figuring out who to take right now.

take boen or charlie u know they will hold there own...who every they end up taking i hope they do all of us downunder proud.
