Russ Henshaw Dew Tour score

he did a 9 and sw. 10 for his unnatty tricks and spun really fast onto a box and you wanted a top 3 finish? lol, you need a doggie treat to cheer you up. and there's a reason elias only wins preseason big airs... thanks golden retriever god... his tricks are ugly as shit but just as tasty! mmmm

1st you film for rage then you misunderstand that unnatty dubs and rails are more tech than boxes and upright unnatty spins... there's no winning with delusional humans!

I probably am just speaking for myself, but i think we have definitely seen enough of B&E rail skiing in general, let alone comps.
NS changes its moods every 3 seconds... One minute people think Phil Casabon should take out X games without doing a dub and its sick to see him doing other shit... and now your saying Gus is only doing shitty un natural switch 10s....

and if you are looking for tech rail tricks, a 2 on, pretz 2, in a comp, under pressure, on a dfd bar, is pretty damn tech to me...

casabon was doing switch 10s to the bottom with a dub japan grab....

you humans just don't comprehend what you're watching half the time...

everyone seems to be missing it except for the dog, his switch right 10 and right 9 were pretty much the same exact rotation with the same exact grab. not podium worthy, not in 2011.

Tom has such a dirty bag of tricks for slope. he can stomp all 4 dubs on command and has the most consistent rail game out there. i predict he will win the dew cup

I would rather see jump tricks on/off rails. In fact, I would rather see wall-rides, jibs/bonks and other interesting non-jump features rather than straight rails which are boring as hell to watch. Switch-ups look stupid on skis. About the only decent thing from B&E would be Casabon's one footers from the last episode, and maybe some presses.

Rails as they are used now in slopestyle are really boring to watch for pretty much every competitor, and for sure the general public. They look a lot more stylistic on a snowboard, for skiing, jumps just look better, end of story.

Let's all shut the fuck up and drool over Gus' SIIICK RUN!!! SERIOUSLY, MAD STEEZE AND TECHNICAL AS WELL.

And to the guy saying 'no dub to the right', you're probably right about that, sadly enough...

i was just dissapointed i didnt even get to see b dogs creativity on this course. Gus's run was insane but damn robot steeze. beep bop boop beep

I would have agreed with you back in 2004. But it seems to me like rail skiing has progressed a shit load in the last few years, and I'm not talking about 1-footers in the latest B&E episode. I don't know how you can think that one footers and "maybe some presses" are the only decent thing in B&E.

Yes there has been progression, but to the average skier/person watching Dew Tour/X-Games it looks the same as it has in the past few years, no one cares about it other than some park skiers. People care about jumps, period. At least wall-rides/jibs/cannons are exciting.

Urban rails are different because of their size/uniqueness, consequence etc. Slopestyle rails are boring.

I see where you're coming from, but in that case, why reward unnatural spins? do you think the average person watching tv cares if it was left or right??

Word. His style has improved a lot. I guess I keep associating his skiing to that video of him at COC a couple years ago where the tricks were super tech but style es muy terrible!

I think visually you can see when a person spins in different directions off back to back jumps, it is noticible, same in the pipe. Rails are just harder to be impressed by, for skiers specifically, in my opinion.
