Runs of the future

i hope style becomes too important to accomodate for things like double cork 12s. as reasonable comp tricks. i hope skiiers stop doing switch pizza takeoffs and hitting jumps straight on at the pro level. every trick should be carved, grabbed for the whole length of the trick etc... nollies, blunts and presses on rails with spins in/out. sick switchups like noseblunt to unnatural tailpress.eventually people are gonna get sick of same way spins and slides under the boot on boxes and flatbars, and spins without nice grabs and sometimes not even carved. mikeal will come back to skiing and win every contest. with josh bibby also winning a few that mikeal doesnt enter.

....yeahh right!

i can see it now

two years time i will be sitting in front of my computer reading the thread about 'some stupid kid does 1800'. then everyone will be arguing over whether or not the kid does it with style, when quite obviously, he looks like a fucking vibrator on overdrive.

in five years time, we will be reading about some new retarded kid throwings 2160's, and therell be fucking goobers still arguing hes throwing it with style, when really, he looks like a chinese olympic diving prodigy on roids.

this sport has so many fucking kinks to iron out right now its a joke

im so fucking over people looking at chumps hucking themselves like spinning tops in perfectly groomed parks and honestly believing they are particpating in the same sport as your t-halls, pep fujas, lolo favres, mark abmas, eric pollards and talented friends'. there are people in this sport taking it in a very postive direction, then theres other fucking idiots with no clue whatsoever

Just wait, before we are all dead people will be spinning the year, and at odd times you'll just have to land over or underrotated or do it onto a rail to get the exact date.

it should be like a skiercross race only with rails in it too. a slopestyle/skiercross comp. and youre allowed to hit each other

pretty soon freeskiing will look the same as old school olympic arials. like the triple backflip 180 shit.

well-done-congratulations-card-679-pekm500x500ekm.jpg

It's gonna be on style, eventually stuff will get to big and it will just be to dangerous to be future spinning and quadding.

wrong. iron cross is simply crossing your skis without a grab. very different from a mute...

illiterate homos have giro logos.

I would hope that judges take style more and more into account, I think it would be really cool and create some diverse riding. That being said the trend seems to be towards less unique tricks and more of the standard technical tricks.
