fitting shoes is just like fitting ski boots, if you plan on putting on some serous miles you need to go to a legit running store and get your foot fitted, otherwise you can have some serious foot pain, theres lots of companies that make shoes with high arch support, but you can always put super feet in your shoes. right now im training for the twin cities marathon, im using a new balance shoe as that is what fits my foot best due to its wide toe box, and high arch. my best advice however would be to try on lots of shoes and see a shoe fitter.
