Runescape?

we were selling those 2.50 cents per mil so we made around 4bil together in like 2 months from 0gp. if only the game was still the same and not the shit it is today...
 
Im assuming you guys botted, unless you were god at that game.

Me and my friends had a little bot circle in hs, but the most we made was like 100mil

 
kind of ''god'' like you said, we've been merchanting and flipping since 2002 so we kinda know how to make money real fast from nothing. I used to play with chessy018 a while ago in like 04-05. if you dont know her then go check some vids on youtube, she had like 6 times the max cash pile in 05 ,one of the first to accomplish that.
 
Yeah back when i used to jerk it to rs videos I'd always look at chessy in amazement. Thats actually pretty cool, I never had alot of respect for people with max stats but I thought it was awesome to be a mercher
 
haha runescape my friend and i wasted so much time from 3rd to 6th grade on there i think my username was like funkypuck44 or somethinng. havent been on since i was 12 though

Gotta be careful about those types of things. The fact that someone stole RS's source code and created their own server...well if I were Jagex I'd definitely shut it down.
 
anyone is gonna play on 06scape? its a remake of rs in 06. it's still not up but alpha is almost done, everybody is gonna start from the beginning, including the economy.
 
yeah it's just crazy, I had over 25k sara brews at 4k each before the update and I was pretty sure it wouldve gone up but it crashed to 500 each... fml haha im just gonna wait till 06scape is going to be up and play that shit instead of rs

i was a 112 member stopped playing awhile ago i got really bored this summer logged on for 30 min and gave up. i could really care less i don't understand the satisfaction.
 
Super late reply haha, but I was bored a couple days ago and looked into it, and I guess now people are into gambling with mithril seeds / flowers. 100% chance, and there are gambling clans where the leaders have 100+bill. Yeah its fucking ridiculous,

$100,000 worth of gold in one persons hands and they go double or nothing, rs is wack
 
Wow I haven't thought about Runscape for years until I saw this thread.

Is it really still alive? I thought WoW pretty much killed it?
 
Back in the day I used to use autofighter. You do need to pay for it, but it won't get you banned (edit: is less likely to get you banned), and it is much les sketchy.
 
I'm botting right now as I do homework, I'm basically trying to bot as much mining and fishing as I can while a low level so I can be loaded as I advance.

I don't bot combat, I actually enjoy that
 
Autofighter is just the name of the company, they make bots for literally everything in the game. Are you in EOC or 2k7? You might make more gp per hour cutting yews than mining.

And EoC. I don't know what EoC is, but 2k7 is like a newer version of classic right?
 
Ah the EOC makes me want to cry. 2k7 is runescape is it was in August of 2007. The most "recent" content is hunter. It's a beautiful thing, but you do have to be a member to play it. Should you decide to play, I would advise using a credit/debit card. If you buy the time cards at gamestop, they are 10 bucks for 35 days. Total ripoff.
 
rs really? launched it again a few month ago and realised how shit it was can't beleive I spend so much time on it. If ur into that shit just play hacked wow. Insane game and you feel badass for not paying all the useless money that people put in this game.
 
So many memories haha. I remember playing so much in elementary school. I stopped for a while then got back into it for a couple months in 7th grade I think because me and a couple friends got into dungeneering. Shit was super fun.
 
Stats do not carry over. You are starting completely fresh, down to making your character on tutorial island.
