nobody died when bush "lied". Im confused what he lied about? He didn't lie about Iraq, thats for sure. He informed the country that we were going in, something that everybody voted for in the first place. I love how you people were all for the war when it was in its infancy, but now that things have gone awry, you immediately begin thrashing on a man u've never even seen in person. Compared to a lot of other situations, the magnitude of Iraq is less. For example, last year in Cali, more people died due to domestic violence and car accidents than all 3 years of Iraq combined. To put this more into perspective, during WWII on DDay, more than 4000 american soldiers died in the period of 24 hours, not to mention 6000+ casualties in the months following the landings. I know it sucks when people die, and i greive the loss of us soldiers much like any of you here do, but you need to realize that we are at war and in a war, people die. Its hard to swallow, even harder to say, but it needs to be said because i get the feeling that a lot of you went into this thinking that people wouldnt die.
And for the record, i am a staunch supporter of the troops overseas, so dont take my above statement a troop bashing because i have an undying sense of respect for these people. Please, leave the troop bashing to john kerry, that seems to be what he is good at these days.
