Ruined powder day

well today we were skiing at good ol' perfect north slopes indiana and we got 15 inches of snow the previous night. the park was slow so we decided to go hike this hill right next to it and it had a good foot and 1/2 of pow pow. so we did a few runs in it and it was legit.. so some kids get the idea to build a booter on the hill so they jack a shovel and we build it so right when we 3/4 the way done some guy from ski patrol or wherever tells us were out of bounds ( where else would we get powder??) he says we leave or get our tickets and passes taken for the year ( last week of skiing there) so the guys an idiot . we leave and never go back but he ruined our only probably ever for 10 years powder day...
 
haha if theres only a week left why not just give him ur pass and tell him to screw? how many times are you going to go in that week?
 
yeah alec me and cal and brian went out on that hill by the lake with chris and 20 other kids
 
not their property and they have no signs saying out of bounds because we ski in indiana so its like theres no 50 ft cliff dropps and its a hill with snow no added features its just some farmers property who didnt care we were doing it
 
haha, i grew up in Indy and a pow day at PNS is really rare, but I just skied Crested Butte and going to Telluride and Vail the rest of the week.
 
thats why im so mad that may be the only big storm i see before i move to colorado in 4 years(college)

and oh noes we went outta bounds at a resort and we almost got our passes taken. WHY GOD WHY
 
yah me and my bro and like 10 other kids hiked to the top of that hill yesterday and skied down

i dont understand,... of course theres no speed for the park.. and u couldnt enoy a pow day just skiing the pow? you shoulda built a jump on a random hill, not by the ski area...
 
our hill is like 500ft vertical and the other stuff was all trecked

hahah yea they just put up signs acouple weeks ago... powder here is like a gift hahah... but now they wont even let us go through the woods so they are being really gay about it hahah.. i wish i would of gone out today, how big was the kicker?
 
lol only haha me and my bro built a kicker on our golf course and it was like 1ft high lol i feal inspired to go make it bigger now

but i blow at making jumps they usually have no lip
 
holy shit did u guys build it like in the middle of the open field? cause if not how the hell would u get enough speed?
 
lol yesterday i hit a rock with the front of both my skis and did a front flip but landed in POW so it was all good

sooooo happy i didnt dub eject or i would have killed myself

i remember htat day... ski patrol can be bitches, but they do save lives... but i do hate them
 
ya dude, you shoulda let the patroller take ur passes, then hike it for the rest of the day.....a lift ticket is only good if you use the lift....ive gotten my pass taken away so many times for doing inverts in my parks and skiing the woods and such....as soon as the pass is gone, i go hike the park....it pisses the dude off who took ur pass, but they cant really do anything about it cuz ur not using the lift
 
it was the worst expiernece ever there b/c the kicker was already legit and we'd sesh it for hours but ski po came by or whoever and killed all of our hopes
 
ski patrollers are annoying, i was with my friend, and we went to the pipe which was closed, so we skied through the trees beside it, and left the trees by hittin the last hit in the pipe. a patrol saw us leave the pipe and was talkin to us. i was there for a few more days cuz of a comp so they didnt take our passes, but as shes talkin my mom comes by and kinda listens in. my friend was like we were in the trees and there was a fence so we had to go in the pipe! it was funny

then left an a couple hours later 6 other dudes got their shit pulled fer bein on it
 
RAcers ruined my best powder day. I u nderstand why I just dont agree with it.

BIggest powder day in a long long time, So we go to hit this super funpitch that is never groomed. Therefore usually Ice. they had groomed it twice that week... So along come the racers and side slip The whole pitch turning it into a complete skating rink. not just there course, no. But the Whole whoe pitch. Made me fuious.

I know from experience it;s to protect their legs
