Hey MSP

What in the fuck was that? You guys need to chill the fuck out with the big budget, Nat Geo, "it's all of our fault for ruining the world" attitude. Honestly, take a page out of TGR's book. They're still super true to the game, put out a TON of more impressive skiing/cinematography than you do every year, and have been an original ski company for as long as anyone can remember.

It's possible to put together a ski movie without Red Bull promotions, Sean Pettit's immature humor, Nat Geo plots, and/or your MSP humor that has been overplayed for decades now. You guys are the same ones that are complaining about the development of Tahoe, but are selling out to make huge productions.

Get back to who you are. The days of High Society were much better.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Patron

Honestly if I didn't get the 2 for 1 lift ticket to Copper an a free Woodward session at the Denver premier I would have been pissed made it worth sitting thru a documentary about a figurative time where there is no snow......

MSP should have just dropped Claim again because what ever they call the film this year its not a ski movie.

Stop living in the past man. Yea those movies were dope but sometimes you gotta move on and try something new, and that's exactly what MSP has been doing. I personally have never been disappointed. They killed it back then and they're still killing it now, just in a different genre.

Just watched it and it is the objectively worst movie I have ever seen. To list a few.

1. A hypocritical and outright dumb version of environmentalism.

2. Narration that was god awful and repeated itself so many times it felt like I was getting clubbed.

3. Big mountain segments that were cut way too short and a not so thrilling urban segment that was dragged out waaaay too long.

4. Representing hispanic and black kids as proverbial poor people or "rats" as they ACTUALLY called them in the film in a sport that is 90% rich and white.

the list could go on.

Sorry MSP. I grew up on your amazing movies but this was so bad it wasn't even funny, just depressing.

Most ski films these days are full of the following... And I refuse to watch the hypocritical shite.

We care so much about the environment... Oh look its puking in Japan lets jump on a plane and go ski there.

Or the other, its so wonderful and spiritual to be in the mountains, I feel such a connection to this place - said while riding in a helicopter...
