Rugby World Cup Today...

So I don't know if you guys across the pond are into rugby, but today was absolutely epic! Think like best pow day of your life and apply to a day of watching sport =)). Anyone that has no idea what i'm on about, England and France beat Australia and NZ respectively, both results were huge upsets odds wise and turned the rugby world on its head!! As I say, EPIC!!
 
sweet dude, i watched a few matches last week and even though i have never learned how to play it was so much better than american football.
 
HELL YES. Plus, France wasn't even playing in France, they played in Cardiff...they really turned it on in the second half.

yeah, sorry to the nz guys, that mest've been hard to take.

no apologies to the aussies though- sweet revenge for our ashes disaster and we were better on the day so the result was fair. must be kinda embarrasin to lose to the worst england team in recent memory though hahahahahaha!
 
fucken forward pass alright! that ref was fucked in the head, so bias. oh well, i say we need to get over it real fast. the country is gonna be crying about it for months, I mean IT WAS OUR YEAR! ha go Fiji.
 
England WOOT WOOOT, eat is southern Hemisphere, i'm pumped for the England France game, but i have a game of my own when its on so I wont be able to watch it. Cmon Scotland tommorow
 
how does having one freak kicker make you a better team? all you guys have to do is get field position, force a penalty and then hand the ball to jonny. without him you would not have even made it into the elimination rounds. and watching that kind of rugby is hardly entertaining

also teh ashes wasnt a disaster... pretty much saw that one comeing a mile off
 
i just found out that the linesman, (the guy that shoulda seen the forward pass) was a fucking english man to!!!!!

we need a fuckin investigation into this!

I was Pretty disapointed,

Australia was not playing very well, they had no flow at all it was very stop start. once they got past he 3rd stage they just self destructed, there was no game plan.

However england did not play a great game either i do not count a game plan revolving arounf one bloke a good one, imagine if wilkinson was injured? they would not have anything at all.

oh and that damn kick from larkham! he should have got the 1st one and the last on but oh well.

it was worse that i was watching it in a pub in london and was significantly heckled for the rest of the night.

oh well 4 more year and we will get the shot, sailor will be back and we can get australian rugby back on track.
 
come on england! not looking great for a world cup win though, although i think i may put a wager on us winning against france next week.

also, to whoever said they may be playing through the england match, i think most if not all matches will have their kickoff changed so they can watch the match. ours was changed yesterday so im sure itll be changed next week.

If Fiji beat SA, and Argentina beat Scotland, it will make for an interesting Final Four.

fuck me, did anybody with the SA v Fiji game?? Another brilliant match which the Fijians almost won, that woulda been about 17x more of an acheivement! great drama this world cup so far...

as for the aussies who are whining that england weren't the better team on the night... are. you. joking? i think this england team are pretty poor, but our scrum dominated yours from beginning to end, our back row was all over gregan like a bunch of fat kids on a cupcake and our defence was pretty solid. face it, you played shit, we played well, your going home empty handed. again. wwaaaahhhhh.....
 
Earlier today, I was hoping to see a France Argentina final. How cool would it be? France Argentina was the first game of the World Cup, it could've also been the last.

However, I think it's gonna be SA England now.
 
Our whole country is still in depression after the All Blacks lost, now all everyone talks about at school is how gay the ref was and how depressed they are blah blah SHUTUP!! It's still top headline for the news everyday, a new reason why we didn't win the game.
