It's fucking 3 years old, there's no such thing as thread stealing, just threads that have existed, besides I've caught schlack for bumping old threads I find funny and want to share which I don't understand why but whatever. I love the video and love seeing it again

Holy fuck. First off, nobody is in the wrong here. The old guy is a douche for stopping in the middle. The kid sprayed him, if intentionally OK dick move, but who cares, omg snow omg snow... Wait isn't that the point of skiing? On snow?... Then the "chase". That escape at the end lol and the yellow jacket was also a cock. "I told you to tighten it up, no skiing switch, etc". Smh that places employ or allow volunteers like this.

I rode the lift up with a yellow jacket last week. "you zipped right past me". Thought I was done for. Then he realized I was better than him.

Stopping the lift and all - that was way too much effort for a spray. This is why I prefer not to ski at any VR if I can.

this guy knows whatsup. never understood why people stop for yellow jackets. they can’t detain you and they can’t scan your pass if you just keep skiing. unless they follow me to the parking garage or something there’s just no way i’ll even say a word to them

Technically, they can detain you. It is private property and they can reprimand you however they want. Although, this doesn’t mean I’m on the yellow jackets side, it’s just they do have authority.

Just ski straight to the parking lot. What are they gonna do grab you and hold you down? They don't have the authority to detain and hold against your will regardless if it's private property or not, but let's be honest, most ski resorts are on leased NPS land.
 
When I worked at a vail resort, a scanner told me that sometimes a yellow jacket will radio down to scanners a description of a person and say to block them. So they’ll scan the guys pass and then his pass won’t scan next time he tries to ride the lift. Idk if it’s true or not but yikes

Getting sprayed is kind of funny in my opinion. If I got sprayed by some random I would likely laugh about it and it try to get him back.
