Rubber Bootboards?

Has anyone replaced their stock hard plastic bootboards with softer ones made of rubber or a hard foam? Does it actually make a difference? I have some Head Raptors rn and I like the performance of the stock board carving but I want to take the sting off a little bit when I overshoot an icy park jump. I know they are also real hard to find for most boots but I’m just curious

I was also considering 3D printing one out of a TPE like nylon or something but kinda sounds sketch using a thermo plastic in cold temps, would rather get a genuine replacement first for sure. Also sounds like a long project modeling a bootboard to fit perfectly

I say do it ... Thats part of what made my RX130 Langes more damp yet powerful vs the RS that is just powerful ... if you have the instep room and have rubber beds from Head or whomever that will fit in the shell properly below the liner...I'm assuming Head has a freestyle boot with rubber boot board that'll slide in there.
