Roundtop or liberty

looking for somewhere i can more easily meet up with friends while at school, and we only ski park... which of those two has a better park thru the rest of the year? thanks
 
they both have their days but passes from mtn works for the other. libertys park will sometimes be better but its also very windy n loaded with gapers. rts parks have their day but there is far less gapers
 
We just built a new jump at RT and the park will be changing greatly over the next 1.5 weeks

The other day I would have said go to Roundtop, But after last night LIBERTY for sure has RT beat. Way more features, Sicker and better built jumps. They just built a 45 foot cheese wedger, and still have a nice 30 footers with some good pop.

Liberty might have a bunch of gapers but it's a way more fun atmosphere.
 
Word. Just try to avoid weekends from 12-3. Come earlier/later. Except I'm happy that they put up that baby park on the far side of Vertigo, far from the majority of features. Makes for a much better allocation of features.
 
This is what Liberty has as of 1/11/10. There are a few more rails set up that aren't visible but I will update this thread as I get them. The 40 foot jump is amazing right now. It started out as a 45 but due to time constraints I couldn't finish it the way I liked until Saturday night. Cut it down 5 feet by adding about 3 feet to the lip and it hits insanely smooth. The second one hits a little different but will be set up to hit like the top one by this Saturday if not sooner. I can only build on the weekends but I will try to get up there for a few hours one night this week and get everything set up properly to the way it needs to be. Enjoy it guys, it's all for you.
 
When something in your knee is torn, and there is a jump that perfect....finish off the knee. But definitely come and check it out this week, Coop did an awesome job on the jumps and with more snow there can only be more to expect.
 
Thanks Matt, let Joe know as well that the jump you guys built looks like the best jump I have ever seen up there. Stoked to see the quality workmanship on it!

Roundtop has the best all around terrian, bar none.

As far as parks goes, Roundtop has a VERY nice setup right now, but Liberty always has a lot more real estate to work with.

I am partial to RT as I have been skiing there for 20 years and its 40 min. closer.

roundtop. libertys bar is too small to sit on. this guy sat on it and i saw his undies. :/ you get lifted at pole # 2. roundtop also is less gaper filled. but there are some nsers at liberty

think i'm going to either roundtop or liberty either this weekend or the next, never been to either mountain seeing as how i'm from nh hahaha. which one should i go to and does anyone wanna shred? hahaha.
 
well sadly, rt and liberty and both closed. best bet is to either go up 2 hours north of roundtop to big boulder or camelback.
 
i can ask around some of the roundtop/liberty riders and see if anyone wants to go that is partnerless..depends on skill too so pm me what you're looking for and i can try to help you out man.
