Since there have been numerous threads in SG about these mountain I figured it would be better to compile everything in one easier to find thread, since the others will just get buried in SG.

Talk about whatever you want weather, ideas, events, complaints. Also be sure to post if there is something you really like, there are employees at every mountain that check NS and its nice to know when you are doing something that everyone likes.

I agree I was up there on thursday riding with derek, its a pretty fun set up and a good change of pace from the last. Rails are on point, and the mellow DFD tube is fuckin awesome too. I'm not sure if it was just that day or what cause the landings on the jumps were really short
 
Whitetail and Liberty have been grooming so much that they've become a shity icefest. Liberty's table top in Vertigo was ruined by the groomers, now its too popy, with a sharp lip, and a landing that's too steep and icy. Once it warms up a bit whitetail will be dope. They have three well built table tops, one with a pill.
 
It usually doesn't. But when it's negative degrees outside and the snow is condensed; it tends to freeze together into 1 big sheet of ice pretty quick. So it's sucks right now, but it'll be nice when it warms up, and it will help the base as spring approaches.
 
The tillers of a groomer loosen up the snow, that's why they do it. If they didn't groom the snow would be a lot icier.
 
I'm only talking about park... but I go to whitetail and liberty regularly; and lately it has been getting even icier after grooming. That's what I can tell you.
 
If anyone still care about this thread I say that whitetail has the best landings ( the overall length of them) RMR has the best lips and landings. The problem with whitetail is their landing are shit most times because they dont seem to know what salt is.

who puts salt in the landings? on the lips, yes, but the landings?

Roundtop's park is going to be fully built for MLK weekend! Friday will be the first day for a sick Fife setup and J-bar park setup as well. We currently have a rail pile, two jumps, and a rail pile. It's fun!
