I am looking for new freeride skis. I will use them for offpiste, but also in the slopes. I can get last seasons Mantra very cheap, but I can also get the Scratch BC even cheaper. Is the Mantra a better ski in the slopes? But I don't think the Mantra is any useful in the terrainpark? Or?

If somebody can help me, I would be very greatful!

mantra is not a twintip so if you plan on using this ski for park at all get the scratch.

bcs are a super good do-everything ski... not outstanding in any particular category, but does everything well. good float in pow, ok in crud/poor snow, fun & carves well on piste, pretty good in the park.

in other words, get the scratch, you can't go wrong!

The mantra is in now way a park ski. It is a huge wide ski with a layer of metal making it pretty damn stiff. It is also pretty heavy

Okay, I think I'll go for the Scratch. Unfortunatly, they have no more inn 185, so I'll have to buy the 178.

I've got them in a 178 and they rip. Think about the versatility of a shorter ski Totally worth it.
