does anybody have a pair of scratch fs skis center mounted and if so how do you like them? i need to decide where to mount mine. im wondering because the thinnest part of the waist is behind the center of the ski

i have the 2nd gen ones true center, and its fine.

the sooner you stop worrying about where your feet are on your skis, the sooner youll be killin it.

i have the 05-06 srcatch fs's and i mounted them +2cm from the freestyle line. i think they are great. they still carve very well. i'm still getting used to swithc, but it's all good. i highly reccomend this if u ever go out of the park.

i have the scratch 06-07 WRS...i mounted them 2cm back from true center and they are sick there for carving/all mountain and jibbing...im sure true center would be fine too though, obviously a bit further back and they are gonna be better for all mountain but whatever, it depends what you are skiing.

yeah i have this years mounted 1.5 cm ahead of the modern mount. theyre sick, good for switch, and still good for all mountain

if you want to ski mostly park mount center. Its way better for switch ups, and fast spinning, and for landing/skiing swirtch, if you want to ski regular runs and powder mount and some park too a bit back of True center. If you dont ski much park and want an all around ski mount modern. If you just ski powder mount standard or back a bit.

yeah what mark said, but we live in oregon and ski heavy pow alot, making center mounted skis just redic. It sucks. I say mount at modern if your gonna ski any heavy powder at all and mostly park.

i believe modern (freestyle) is -5cm and standard is -7cm from center. I have mine at -2cm and love it, wouldn't mount them any other way.

'modern' stance is the way to go.. especially if you ski the mtn.. and riding switch isnt a problem. skis are meant to be mounted where suggested for best edge control and manuverability.

id like to get some more opinions on mounting 1 cm ahead of "modern" on the 06 scratches. will they still rip all mtn and hold an edge or will they feel like they have a hooky tail and be ahead of the waist of the ski. by the way does anbody know where the very skinniest part of the waist is in relation to the modern mark?

i got the ones in ur icon pic, mounted at "modern" or w.e it is, they ski amazing, spin fast, and ski swithch good, rails good....and carve great

just mount at sug. its not just there to look pretty

i have the bc and they are a centimeter up from modern and i have no problem skiing or landing switch with them

I have the 181 FS wrs mounted 1.5cm behind true center and they're doing great. They ski very well around the mountain and are awesome in the park. I really like them

i have my 03-04 mounted at standard, haha, and they are fine switch, so ya, im thinking of remounting them at +2 of the modern line though.
