first off why the fuck are they trying to call it a sender when its obviously a black ops 110 TI?

the top sheet and base are just generic dad ski shit just like nordica salomon and blizzard slap on their skis, a black topsheet and big rossignol lettering on a solid color base would have been so much better

I HATE visible air tip because it is the most boomer marketing gimmick shit ever, no one needs to see it and the shit they do to make it visible makes the ski look cluttered and stupid

the sender line is all skis for soul 7 boomers and they want to just slap this twin tip in the line to sell them to idiots who are going to mount it -10 and then complain about it not being directional enough and the tail not being flat enough

the big push to slap all their freeride/freestyle/big mountain athletes on a the same ski with a generic ass graphic really rubs me the wrong way and I don't know why exactly or cant figure out how to articulate it

I know the ski is going to be really good I love my 118s but the graphics and marketing for this ski are bothering me way more than they should and I had to vent
 
Give me a sender squad with all black top sheet, and none of that boomer graphic shit. Seriously why are they killing this ski, adding carbon to it won’t make it better.

do I have to ski a ski to comment on the graphics and marketing? I said I know its going to be good ski, its a black ops 118 which I love just slimmed down with metal under foot and its probably great

Sure. But you understand that if a company like Rossi marketed to the niche NS demographic, they wouldn’t sell anything. Of course they have to get the “Sender” crowd excited about this ski.

They sell plenty of 118s, if they needed generic graphics and dad ski marketing to sell skis they’d call the bops sender 118s and slap the same shit on them

Harboring hate and anger is objectively bad for your emotional and mental health. Yelling about it on NS isn't really venting because some people are on here to just stir the pot. You're basically asking for someone to roast you about your opinion... Which btw I am not trying to do, you make some valid points. I am only attempting to help you realize this may not be constructive for you
 
i actually rate the blue graphic

you shouldn't really care about names or even graphics- rossi is building solid skis now

the black ops sender squad is a unicorn only 194 size charger
 
they should have just kept the black ops line how it was. it was super cool when it first came, it was mysterious and interesting. still regret not getting the blackops 98
 
the name and graphic may be marketing but the ski itself is rad, I got to ski it two weeks ago and the thing goes

I really wouldn't call a little frustration with ski harboring hate and anger, I know rossingols marketing team did this to sell skis and no matter how silly it is to me they are for sure right about this in the making money sense but it still feels really silly. also its the internet, if someone didn't try to roast me when I post my opinion id be disappointed

If marketing and graphics are shit but the ski is good, its a win. If graphics and marketing were amazing and i was mega hyped but the ski would be avarage, I would be really dissapointed.

Not a fan of soul 7s and i agree that the tip might be just a boomer gimmick, but w/e.

And what comes to the graphis, i dont care if you slap OsamaPro graphics on a Blizzard Bonafide its still the most fun ski i have ever skied on piste and harpack. Lost my lift ticket for going too fast, was worth it.

Orange/red/white/black skis are fastets and objectively the best. Blue and green are complete dogshit ski colors. (:

Also, Jacob Wester has been killing it last few years in Norway.
