Rossignol s4 jib

The rossi team has been killing it on them lately...so that's a good sign.

They're pretty stiff, rockered (barely), super fun on jumps and still fun on rails, they're a great ski, no doubt.
 
Seriously, don't you think this topic probably has been discussed before? Anyways, yes, they are "good", they haven't felt the need to change them at all since Candide designed them in 2007 which is always a good sign.
 
I only created this thread cause I couldnt find any other that talked about these skis. You mentioned they were stiff, can you still butter on them even if you're not heavy? Dale Talkington seems to destroy rails on them so i guess that clears the other doubt i had.
 
Thanks. But it wasn't really specified in the other thread if you can butter on them or if its hard if you're a lighter guy like me, 6'00" 140bs
 
I'd go with the LTE over the S4, it's a bit softer.

As far as buttering the S4, it's possible, you may have "cheat" into it a little (a slight little hop, it's a bit to get the timing just right, but if you can you can butter anything anywhere - it's what they do to butter powder too - and if you get the timing REALLY good then no one will notice and you'll look like a boss for buttering a stiff ski). Again, I bring you to the D-Talk Spring Edit, first trick is a nose butter 3, and he's not that heavy either.
