Rossignol has bad top sheet?

my rossi scratch's are my first and only pair of skis, i have used them for a year; now they have, on top of about 3 core shots, very very bad top sheet damage. and im not even an intermediate skier, im still beginner so idk. Anyone else have the same issue?
 
all skis have top sheet issues. they chip, it happens. as long as they aren't delamming you're good.
 
Since you are a beginner, you probably bang your skis into things/each other a lot. topsheet damage is eminent on all skis, just take better care of your next pair.
 
This and/or don't care about top sheets since they don't provide any purpose other than eye candy
 
edges are sharp.. top sheets are weak.. just thank yourself for not having a nordica with the vinyl topsheet. my dead moneys are all chipped up. but like others have said, its just cosmetic. id recommend some clear epoxy to keep water out.
