Rossignol fks 180 weight

Just got the rossignol fks 180 bindings in the mail and they seem kinda heavy compared to my last bindings, the attack 11's. Are they heavy bindings or am I trippin?

I only weigh 140 but I charge hard, take urban falls, and thrash a new ski every season. Should I have got the 140 bindings or am I good?

Well christ you're going from a full plastic 11 din to a metal 18 din, obviously they feel heavy. Honestly I would have settled with the 14 din, depends what din you ride and needs of how hard you ski/crash and stuff.

Yes, they're heavy. But have less swing weight than other bindings.

If you ski at least at an 8-9 DIN, you're fine. Those bindings are bulletproof more or less

well you went straight from a kids binding to one of the burliest bindings on the market. So obviously they feel heavy.

yeah theyre sorta heavy, especially, as said, when you compare them to a particularly light binding like the attack 11s. but theyre bombproof and that weight really won't matter. absolutely nasty bindings, theyve earned the great rep they have
