Rossignol Bandits

I have last years bandits and thought they were great, this years B2 blows them away though.

May the seed of your loins be fruitful in the belly of a lamb...

i have had bandits for the last two season. they were great skis till the binding ripped off my ski. i got them warrinted but it took a while. i haven't ridden the new b2 yet

Alcohol the cause and solution to all lifes problems.

I had a pair of xx's and I broke a tip and blew out an edge on each ski. If they were made better, they would be the shit, because they rode really nice.

I skiied the RPM 21. its the same thing as the B1 I didn't like it. I found the B2 to be a solid ski but really pretty useless on firmer packed snow. the B3 I found to be waaayyy to soft, use the gotama or explosive

i hate people who think one company rules all, fact of the matter is that everyone now a days makes good skis, it just depends on what type of skier you are to match up with the correct model in that companys line. for example you might like volkl better because you have tryed a higher end model then one with rossi. if you ever have the chance to do a ski test when they black out the graphics, do it, i garentee that you will be surprised with the results.

been riding bandits for a while now great skis, havent ridin the new models though. they are a greta freeride ski, they are NOT for rails. they may be a little heavier in the air than some frrestyle skis but i would never switch (mostly cause of my racing background and the fact freestyle skis arent all that great outside of the park, in my humble opinion)

to answer vtrider. while yes I prep volkl I dont mean that they are the only ski. I want you all to buy volkl cause it is a great ski with great warranty but other skiis are good too. just professionally and personally I prefer volkl. other good skiis are the PE, 04 scratch, but I feel that the volkl are better!

I've been riding my XXX's for 2 seasons now, and have had them everywhere - park to steep with 3 feet of fresh. While they aren't the best job ski in the world (bit heavy, bit stiff), they can do almost everything, just not amazing at everything. I can put railway tracks in hard pack with them, they float in powder, plow through crud, boost ok in the pipe, and are alright in the park - if nothing else they are a super stable platform. I dig em, but I wouldn't bother if you were anywhere east of the mississippi.

ya the b series is sick, i also got a chance to ride the xxxx, that's right the quad x, they were huge, super sweet in the pow

The 4-X was a Team Only-ish ski that made it mostly to folks like Dan Treadway and the like, but it made its way out into the market a bit. The things are freaking surf boards.

from how i understand it the xxxx (quad x) were roughly 95 underfoot, basicly what the b3 is now, just remember that they came out like 4 years ago, before 90+ skis even existed

then agian i might be wrong, mabey they wernt the skis i saw.

Rossi did one about 4 or 5 years ago that was a prototype to the bandits called (and I am a bit hazy on this as its been a while) called the cut 9s or something like that. We just called them the fat cocks since they were fat and still had the old rossi rooster on them. The xxxx's were around season before last.

yea the XXXX is basiclly the 195 b3...trust me

and if you think that the 185 and shorter b3's are to soft... your right. this year they were softend up a bit.. to make them more versitle and better in the trees... on the other hand the 195 has extra metal in them and is way!!! more burly, try them and i know you will think different

bandits are the gayest ski i have ever seen its a poser twin tip. why would u bother buying them? they piss me off. its what all the tourists rent when there on the mountain.

Well...ok then.

I'll put it this way then:

When I was shopping for skis, I wanted one that was stiff enough, fat enough and with enough sidecut that it didn't feel like an ironing board underneath me. I wanted something with some sort upturned tail so that I could land switch every once is a while if I felt like it, and something that would stand up to the 220 pounds of me, and the 5000 feet of mountain that I ride. The suggar daddys weren't around yet, I'm not a Vokl fan, the Monstors were too straight that year, Pocket Rockets are too damn soft for my liking and damnit, I thought these ones just plain looked cool.

How's that?

ya park is not everything guy, some people like non twins cause well they're better than twins outside of the park, just cause you're not riding twin tips doesn't mean you can't throw it down, they aren't everything, as far as i'm concernced if you're landing switch on a b3 or b2, they have a slight tip then you've got way more balls than any 'freestyler' out there

the bandits have some potential but the new volkl gotama are going to put them to dust
