ive got a pair of world cup fks bindings ontop of a raceplate on my old slalom skis and was wondering,

are the world cup fks the same as the park oriented ones?

id rather just use these than having to buy a new pair

im mounting them on ar7's btw.

If I remember correctly, there is nothing different between the world cup and a normal FKS binding, I'm pretty cure it was just a name they put on it to market it. What's the DIN range?

And, as long as the brakes fit, you'll be fine.

haha well the only racy about them is that they sometimes painted them the same colors as their race ski's, besides that its exactly the same great fks binding..

yep, you're wrong. they're exactly the same as the ones out now. the only differences(recently) are different colours, stock wide breaks and a toe with upward release on the 14 din version.

never really looked, but the din rage is 4-12. seems very low i guess.

while everyones in here really quick, i know theres a bunch of threads and shat but, what bindings do you prefer. im lookin for something pretty durable, and light.??

sth14 driver, those fks i ahve, griffons?

Id pick the sth 14 driver, griffons blow

I love my fks but the brakes are a bitch to replace if one breaks.

But my sth 14 driver are bomb, metal is better then plastic

i have griffons and i would like to tell you DO NOT GET THEM!!!!!i have chipped the "claws" that hold the heal to the plate, exploded a break and pre release a shit toni am now going to be replacing mine with FKS so if i was you just stick with what you have

I had the same exact binding (FKS 120 World Cup edition) on a pair of park skis a few seasons ago, and they were awesome. Fairly durable (easily the most durable 12 DIN binding out there) and still pretty light. You could just save some money and put those on your skis...

They are the same. However if your skis are rossignol and they have the alloy plate, the only bindings that will work with that ski is the FKS. So the skis are useless without that binding

Well, I mounted my doubletimes up with some STH 14's with the driver toe piece. Probably my favorite bindings I have ever had so far. Very satisfied with how they perform. They kind of help absorb landings where I take them too deep. Very solid binding.

On my fujatives I just recently bought, They came with rossi race fks 155's on them. Those too are some of my favorites. They are a wee bit old from what the guy I bought them off of told me but other than that, they perform like they are brand new. Pretty sold on sth drivers and FKS'. Needless to say, my future pairs of skis will be mounted with drivers or fks' and nothing more.
