Rossi Warranty

I broke my pow airs and they were still under warranty so i sent them to rossi. THey told me that they could not be repaired so they would replace them. They said they were sending me some used reconditied skis. WTF is this?

Rossi is under no obligation to send you a brand new ski, you didn't send THEM a new ski, so they're not going to send YOU a new ski back. Ski companies lose a TON of money RMAing for us freeskiers. We're rough as hell on sticks. So they're gonna start cutting their losses by giving you a refurbished ski, possibly a demo that's been tuned again, or possibly a blem. Expect most major companies to follow suit in the next few years.

One more thing to keep in mind:

Ski companies MAY go the way of bike companies. That is, enforcing the 'manufacturer's defect' part of the warranty. They are only legally responsible for things that are wrong with the way the ski was made; i.e. if it left the factory out of spec. If you go 80 feet off a 65 foot table and flat-bottom and break your ski in half, that is hardly a problem with the way the ski was made. If you have poor jumping technique and slap your skis on every icy landing at your local park and your skis delaminate, that is not a problem with the ski was made. It was at manufacturer's specs when it left the factory, but there are some things that you can do that will break any ski, no matter how well it's made. There is a stress limit on fiberglass and wood/foam, and if you go past it, your ski will break.

So like the guy above me stated (maybe the Midwest riders have their heads on straight!) be grateful that they're RMAing your skis at all.
