I am buying a pair of Rossi Super 7's but i cannot decide on which size to buy. What yall think 187 or 192.I am also lookin for a pair of bindings if anyone has any suggestions or offers.

personally i would go with the 188's (rather than the 195's) because it would allow me to be more playful with the ski. but if you are looking to charge on these (big AK lines) then i would recommend the 195's. either way its a badass ski and you'll love em.

Im 20 lbs heavier than you and the same height, and prolly getting the 188 just for the sake of tree skiing maneuverability.

And be a man and mount them with 22Designs Axls

dont buy rossis. really outdated design. those skis are way behind skis like the jj and opus. dont waste your money.

they are almost identical to the jj's... except a little more directional making riding switch slightly more difficult.

not really, stiff, very direction due to the pintail, far heavier. the shovel is also to wide imo.

the s7's are by no means stiff in any way. and considering the fact that he is looking at the super 7's means he wants a stiffer than not ski. i have flexed and compared the jj's, s7's, and super 7's side by side and they are pretty damn similar besides the narrower tail on the rossis. the only bad thing about the s7's is that they are pretty crappy to ride switch on.. i may be wrong but i dont think that is what OP is looking for. not everyone on NS is a park rat who wants to try dub corks into powder when it storms.

i worked at a shop and i have experience with many different skis.. personally i have EP Pros and i fuckin love them, granted they serve a totally different purpose..

It's not the fact that you hated them, skis are obviously a huge personal preference and I respect that. It's you saying that they use outdated technology while claiming that the JJ's are at the forefront of that aspect, when Rossi's Amptek on the S7 is the exact same concept as the Elfshoe on the JJ. The idea behind this is that the rocker starts at the exact same point as the reverse sidecut giving you that turn-y catch free feel and making the ski feel much shorter than it actually is. In fact, they are so similar that Armada filed a lawsuit last year against Rossi for patent infringement.
