Does any one know about the Rossi Scratches? Are they a good park ski? Are they light weight? Do they ski all mountain good? And whats the difference between the Scratch 100 and 140 binding?

 
The scratch is the best twin tip created. I ski the Scratch FS 174cm and it rips everywhere. It's got hella pop and the perfect stiffness. The Slanted sidewalls allow it to carve well, and it's fat enough to float. They are super smooth. As for the bindings, I have the Scratch 100 bindings. The only difference on the bindings is the DIN on the 100 bindings goes to 10, and the DIN on the 140 goes to 14. I weigh 130lbs and I have my DIN at 5, and it's perfect. You can't have a better set-up then the Scratches with the scratch bindings.

Scrathes are phat...i guarantee you'll like em if your into park,lines and just fuckin skiing. IF you weight more than 140lbs get the 140 bindings.

You'll want them in the long run.

 
they look sooooo damn soft though. whenever i see someone riding em..like in a vid or whatever..they bend like into a V whenever they land. tiny little tanner hall is heavy enough to do this to em..so i dunno about stifness

Mauii, that is not true, and any ski bends. It is not soft. The scratches rule, the people who don't think so are the people who haven't tried them.

yea, scrathed aren't all that soft...the only time i've onde that is decking the pipe right on the corner....but they're kick-ass skiis

the scratches are not that soft but stiff torsionally, the fs is a great park ski and the bc is an inredible pow ski. the only difference between the axial 100 and 140 is the din range, the 140 goes to 14.

i know all skis bend..but these ones bend more.. i even watched my vid of the x games again and looked closely... scrathes bent the most...salomons and dynastars were in the middle and heads looked the stiffest..either jon olsson is a lot better at landing than tanner..or the scratch are too soft (and jon weighs more than tanner)

mauii, too bad I used to ski the 1080s, and at the end of last season I got the scratches, the scratches are DEFINITLY stiffer AND BETTER. Shut your ass up, you obviously haven't skied on the Scratches. Don't listen to this dumb fuck who rides on the 1260s. It makes me mad when people say things about something they haven't tried, especially when they are judging by a video. Peace out

well..one of my friend is sponsor by rossis..he got 4 pair of scratch in a day...he broke a pair..switch to his spair...broke them,took the skis of the rep,broke them,took the bc of the demo tent,broke them and then broke the fs of that tent....theres a huge problem whan you need 4 pair fo 1 comp!!!

pocket-rocket, Im having problems believing that. Cuz I rode my scratches for 3 weeks at the end of the year and mine didnt break. I hit rails, 40+ foot tables, halfpipe, bad bails. Mine are fine.
