Rossi S7, anyone ridden it?

Never ridden it but it is soft. I saw someone who has a pair of most rosi skis lend his S7 to his poo poo friend while he took out his s5's. He said the s7 made it super easy to ski pow .

hand flexing it was soft. not a lot of people have ridden it, there arent that many pairs in the country. according to our rossi rep, as of april 1st there were only two pairs in the country, one display pair, and one sage had. supposedly they had a bunch coming in not long after that, but still, that doesnt give a lot of time for people to get on them

I've definintely seen a few pairs in canada.

hand flexing them i thought they were the stiffest rockered skis Ive seen. Were you guys flexing prototypes or a final production one?

Weren't they solid in the middle with just a little more flex in the tip and tail. Not super sure though, just looked at them for a minute.

looking for an all mountain ski that can be centermounted. more towards pow, but stable enough for skiing chop hard.

josh bibby pro?

jp vs julien? are they still noodley?

why aren't there stiff rockered skis? if its rockered, wouldn't the soft flex be unnecesary because you don't have to decamber the skis?

Ya but if its rockered it'll be a pow ski not a crud ski. Why not make it soft. Either way check the sally's they're a little stiffer than most.

Rockered skis are obviously made for pow, and in pow people usually want soft skis. But if you want a stiff rocker, check out the moment m1. You'll need to be quite the man to ski them though.

i hate to break it to you but the m1 is not rockered. it is just about the stiffest ski on the market though. the rockered skis that moment makes are the reno rocker, donner party and the bibby's.

anyways the bibbys are a medium flex they hold up well in the chop and even the hard pack. they'd work well as an all mountain ski anywhere that gets a decent amount of snow.

Moment makes a rockered M1 they are calling it the big mountain rocker. And by the way the m1 isnt even close to the stiffest ski on the market.

yeah, moment will let you rocker just about any of their skis.

people i know who have ridden the m1s say they are much stiffer than the legend pros, which are pretty damn stiff. what skis are stiffer than the m1 if you don't think they're that stiff?

the skis sick,i didnt ski them, buti was with treadway when he was on them.

its turning radius is 18 metres, so it turns well, so stoked for buying them

I'm in the same boat right now, except not as concerned about something close to a centre mount. The S7s look pretty sick. Its either S7s, Donner Parties, ARGs, Praxis or possibly EHPs. Such a tough decision.

i remember you said treadway was on them, mason. so that means you can shred hard on them i'm sure. though 18m turn radius seems like it would be catchy.

what about the Jp vs julien. it seems very versatile. how stiff are they now?

Basically, I would get a fully rockered ski if they could ski nasty hard

snow good

I think anything could be ski'd

you just need to work the ski

I havemnt really flex the jps, but the new ones look sweet, like the args but skinnerier and what not
