Rossi s6 this year or last?

What's up everybody....havent been here in a while....anyway....looking to get a set of pow sticks for the season and am looking at the rossi s6's....were there any major changes from last years model to this years??? im thinkin i might be able to pick up a pair of last years kinda cheap....any of you guys skis these what are they like in the deep stuff?????any help will be appreciated thankss...

There isn't much of a difference beyond top sheet for the S6, this year vs. last. They are a great ski when my brother and I tested the 2010s last year, a lot like my Bacons as they have a lot of contact, are pretty predictable and fun, while having enough width for easy float. They did exactly what I told them to do on hardpack as well as off piste. If you were looking for more of a pow dedicated ski instead of a more all around ski like the S6, look heavily at the S7. I bought that for my dad as his big pow ski and I love them. Extremely versatile, while not having too much rocker to keep them out of the question for some crud busting and hard pack.
