is anyone interested in buying these classic skis? they have grind plates under the binding and just seeing if there was still a market for them

what is the grind plate

what does it consist of and look like

i dont want the skis but ive just always wondered what the grind plate was

"grind plate" as in there were plastic inserts under the mounting position making them wicked fast on rails. ill see if i can throw some pics up

THESE ARE JUST GOOGLE IMAGES PICS, NOT HIS SKIS

i have never skied or seen them in person? what was the disadvantage to grind plates? there must have been one or skis today would have them

whoa those look craaaaazy!! But yeah must be a huge disadvantage, because never seen anything else with those. Xcept blades

ha ha yeah they suck straight up dont even try to sink an edge im workin on pics got to drunk tonight ill do it tomarow or something

hahaha, I had a pair of those a while back.

sooooo fast on rails...

carving wasn't as bad as you would think on them, thay had more sidecut than the regular pow air's (which I wasn't a fan of).

would have liked them a lot more if they had a normal edge underfoot though
