Rossi Mogul problems

Anyone have probs with the Moguls? After 15 days last year, one ski delaminated under the binding (!?!). Im 6'4 215lbs--Im wondering if Im too big for these skis.

Any advice is welcome.

 
get a wider ski! unless u ski bumps then get the head mad trix bumps they are very sturdy. if u can afford to go wider get a ski with a full wood core. Volkl! v-expression by volkl is the way to go for u my friend.

Send them to Rossignol, they will probably give you a new pair. Your size may be a factor too, I almost your size, and I have broken a lot of skis.

while rossi might replace them they will prolly put ownice on the shop to replace them because the shop shoulda sold u a better ski for ur size!

I got them from a friend who knows the rep. Rossi wont touch them without a reciept (which I dont have). My friend busted his skis that he got from the rep, so he doesnt want to ask the rep for another favor...

Looks like Im SOL.

 
get em' fixed then. A really good tech should be able to glue em together. Otherwise, I don't know what to suggest.

rossi moguls are bad news, on my freestyle team anyone who has them breaks atleast a pair a year, they are too soft for someone your size anyway. You should be able to warranty them though without the receipt, just go to your local shop that sells rossi and have the shop send them back for you. look into the head mogul, volkl dragonslayer, and k2 mamba, and lava lamp. those are all a alot stiffer and better for someone your size, i'm 6'2 190 and ski the head mogul and it rips and didn't break.

 
Tried that, the shop I took em to called Rossi and I guess Rossi wouldnt even let them send them back without proof of purchase or some crap. Was I getting jerked around? Should I try it at another shop?

 
that is bullshit..shops arent ask for proof of purchase...try to get a credit, so you could take something else..and id recomend the 1080 moguls..

not 1080 moguls never 1080 moguls drangonslayers and mad trix mogul are the way to go.

I'm surprised the shop wont send them back. asking for a credit will prolly not work. if u can find a receipt. statement on visa bill, receipt if paid by debit, returned cheque if paid by cheque or money order. if you paid cash and have no receipt you are pretty much screwed.

I wish you luck, check the records for the payment method you used. also if you bought the skiis in the last year or so the shop should have a record of it. you just tell them the day to look and all the details to the best of your knowledge and see how it goes.

1080 moguls are soft, they delam, and my buddy ripped his 912ti bindings right out of them!
