Hey guys im thinking of setting up a pair of rossi Ghetto (2008) with some dynstar jib nx12 bindings.

I have heard a few different things on the rossi scratch ghetto skis though and I need to know your guys opinion on this ski.

Thanks,

Matt (I love to give out karma ;))

And also im 5'11" and 143 lbs and ill usually go for a 171 for my park ski but the ghetto only comes in 167 - 174 or something else what would be better 167 or 174?

they're good skis, medium flex a little on the stiff side- good for jumps. get 181s. go long you'll never go back

They are really sick skis. I think one of the best out there for jumping. Really really light and poppy and stiff enough you're not going to wash out on landings. Thier durability isn't the best but thier warranty is great.

I own a pair of the scratch fs - the precursor to the ghetto. I'd agree with the above in that it's the durability that lets them down. If you ski them hard the likelyhood is that you will lose the stiffness.

I am slightly taller and heavier than you and skied the 174 and found it was a good length. Was a good comprimise for skiing across the mountain.

honestly man ive ridden several pairs or rossis and their durability has allways been on point, i cant speak for these, as i honestly havent ridden them, but ive ridden the fs and sprayer bcs and those were both great. People overlook classic companies like this, but honestly i gets me excited to know that people still have an interest in these companies. Youre way better off buying a rossi product than line or armada, their warranty is aweswome, and like i said their durability is great, i rode a pair of remounted sprayer bcs for two seasons, and have ridden and broken everything else ive ever owned from fischers to 4frnts to k2s, the rossis have been by far the best so far, so buy em man there is no way you will regret it.

ya i heard the edges werent to durable but im defs not going 181 way to long for my liking i like a bit shorter ski

I have the FS WRS (exact same ski). Durability is average. One of the nicest skiing park skis I've had though.
