k i need some solid new bindings and these seem pretty dece and i can get them for a solid price, but i can only get them in xxl, so i was wondering should i get them and then just change the brake(which i assume is the only difference) because these are for my park skis... +k for helpful responses.

no they are great bindings i weigh 130 and im riding them at 11 din and they only release when you have a bad fall not when you are dickin around. witch is the excat reason i bought them if you can change the break then id def buy them

Pretty strong bindings, good release mechanism.

They start at 8, which levels around a 9-10 on weaker bindings. at least thats how it feels to me.

plus the have a very short mounting area, keeps the skis flex right.

buy them, they are awsome

Do you know how to change the brakes? They don't have easily detachable brakes like most bindings, so that's something to consider. I'm sure you could very easily trade them for some skinny brakes with someone on here or TGR. They are harder to get so most people would swap their skinny's with you in an instant, I know I would.

IMO, if you need to ask whether you need FKS180's, you probably don't. My $0.02

Those bindings are worth every penny! I ride the look Pivot 18. Same thing. It is a bit tricky to change out the brakes, but I have seen some very helpful video threads here on NS! Get em if you can! Might have to special order narrower brakes through your local shop though!

if you order skinnier brakes you get a hole new baseplate. so just unscrew the dildo part from the old baseplate and attach the new baseplate.
