Rossi FKS 140 vs modern look pivot

Found a deal for a really good condition 2012/2013 model of the fks 140. Just wondering if it is a good grab for the quality , probably able to get them for 100-150, or if the tech has changed and if I should look else where

Buy new, if you break them in a day there's nothing protecting the money you just spent. I had a buddy who bought a next to new pair of fks 140s and they broke a week later. Buying used bindings in an unnecessary risk in my opinion.

As long as they dont look too fucked up theyre probably fine. Might be worth having them tested at a shop if you mount them yourself. Buying pivots new is kind of a waste of money imo, theres a ton of lightly used pairs out there that people are trying to get rid of.

you can literally buy a new pivot for 250 delivered. If you pay 150 for the binding and then have to get a mount and test you are probably better buying new. If you pay 50 for them it’s worth it. But seriously don’t buy them without being tested.

You still have to pay to mount the new ones though
