Rossi Axial 2 brake help

I just clicked into my bindings for the first time since April. When I was putting my skis away I noticed that the spring detached from the brake. I had trouble getting it in, so I'm wondering if snapped a pin or something that holds the spring in the brake piece.

This is what it looks like now:

I tried to hold a piece of paper so you can see where a tiny hole is, I'm assuming its for a pin of some sort.

If I can't get the spring back in, how do I take to entire brake off of the plastic piece that goes under the heel of my boot? I'm willing to go brake-less until I get home.

Bump, to get above the four Jiberish threads that are already above this. If possible, I'd like to get this fixed promptly & for. I want to get a couple of days in before I go home for break.

it looks like your bindings have a boner. the same thing to my axials when i tried pulling my ski out of the water at the water ramps. it got caught under a step and just broke. i think a replacement peice for that is like 15$ though

Hmmmm....any idea on how to take the whole brake out then?

Hopefully this works. 1) for ze lazies and 2) to redeem myself somewhat.

Wow guys - you've outdone yourselves this time. There are now NINE Jiberish threads above this one.

Only one Saga thread though...you're slacking.

Bump for a broke college kid that just wants to ski.

you have to use something as a pin, cut a finishing nail about 1 cm long, put it threw the hole on the piece that is standing straight up, take the brake pad, you have to pry the 2 metel L tabs that the post slides in between out from the plastic casing. push the nail and post into the L Tabs from the top and squish the L tabs and casing back together with pliers or a vice

i dunno how else to explain it.

look at the other one for refrence

Hmm, I figured there was a pin of some sort. But I'm in a dorm so I don't have anything to use, so I guess I'll just run it down to the shop...hopefully they don't charge me $20 or something stupid like that.
