so just a few minutes ago i went to click on the forums link, and a small load bar appeared and then a big rossi ad popped up?
 
Yeha it is a little annoying but if you click on the page it goes away from me and you can just not go up that far and get the the bar.
 
If you click away from it it goes away immediately. I don't find it offensive at all....

Plus have you checked out the content that is in there? Its really actually pretty cool. There's all kinds of awesome videos, contests, blogs, links, etc... and its going to be updated frequently.

Please guys, at some point you have to accept some form of advertising or we're just going to have to shut the site down.

This is a ski company, its targeted at you, supplied with fresh content, and its not for penis enlargement.

Give us a break on the ad hate when its good companies who care about you. Check out the ads... see whats behind them, and support the people that support Newschoolers!

Don't hate... appreciate. Ads like that bring this site to you for free.

 
It does not go away for me. It just sits there and won't let me click anything else.

Like Said before, Fuck that annoying ad. The roll overs are fine but shit like that is annoying
 
yeah it does not go away for me either.. first it takes a few seconds for the status bar to load up, in which i still cannot click anything.. and then the add stays there for 20 seconds or so.

seriously the add is fucking stupid.. they can't just settle for the 1" x 7" banner shit at the top?
 
yeah please get rid of that shit.... kills me i keep getting fucked by it everytime i click near uptop im about to throw my macbook out the window
 
maybe rather than getting rid of a skiing ad, could it be moved or changed so its not so sensitive to mouseover? maybe have a longer delay before it changes to the annoying part?
 
Bishop, I completely understand and support your advertising. However this ad pisses me off to the point where it makes me log off the site. It seems like whenever I try and use the top navigation bar it comes down and doesnt just go away. Maybe its because my computer is from 02 but most of the time it doesn't just go away.
 
its gotten worse now, the banner itself before the mouse has been moved over it has started covering the link bar...

ahhaha right as i clicked reply it came up! but thanks for gettin on it so fast, it really isnt that big of a deal to avoid when its where it is supposed to be, but its a little bit more annoying when it covers the link bar, whenever it did though, i just used the quick links or pressed back. again, thanks for the speedy response!
